Interesting...

In one of the earlier episodes, (one after the wedding when Saloni is being brought into Nahar's home) they show a "test" wherein Saloni is made to pick up plates and she does so successfully at which point Bhabho says that if the bride picks up the plate without much noise, it signifies that the new bride will bring peace and tranquility in the house and that if there is a lot noise while the plates are being picked up, means that there will be a lot of noise, signifying discontentment, in the family.

Though Saloni passed this test successfully, it seems that ever since she got married, there always has been some tension and nail-biting at Nahars house and less of the peace and tranquility. First it was the murder case in which Saloni was accused, then it was Shubra-Neel marriage and now it is the problem with bua-Dhananjay all of which has Saloni deeply involved and a lot of shouting and discontentment in Nahar's house and amongst family members...
So may be all those tests which a bride undergoes in the name of tradition and rituals doesn't really mean a thing...? !!!??

I myself don't believe on these kind of things but this is TV serial, so they show whatever comes in their mind.
