What we were led to believe : A fairy tale of a dark gal with musical talents who has a fairy tale wedding and makes it big , and redefines he concept of beauty , giving the message that only fair girls dont make success stories by climbing the ladder of social hierarchy via marraige ........by landing good proposals .

Viewer's comment : Achchi story hai .

What we actually saw : The dark gal has the fairy tale wedding alright and then she totally redefines not the concept of beauty but the concept of Saat Phere as understood by Hindus . She gives a new meaning to Saat phere concept ........marraige means becoming the bodyguard of ur brother in law and his wife and sacrificing left right and center for them . Once the fairy tale marraige takes place , hang the prince charming on a hook in the castle from where he will occasinally smile and nod at ur sacrifices , and later , not content with that , hang ur own child besides him on another hook and go on focussing on the betterment of the brother in law and his selfish wife.

You read our minds. Good one. I don't know about all of you but i will get blood pressure very soon. Can't stand this anymore. I had stopped seeing Saath Phere. But one day I heard that there was a leap and Nahar was dead so I got curious. That's the blunder I made. I wish I hadn't start seeing it again. Thanks for starting the topic.

Seeing the most idiotic concepts glorified in such a way makes everyone's blood boil monika...........we r all on the verge of blood pressure here .😆😆 Betiyaan and the portrayal of women in it is another blood boiling show . There the blood never stops boiling , so brain stroke is inevitable by the time the serial ends .😆

So u see u put it so aptly . I'll tell u what makes my blood boil in this show .............Saloni's de prioritasation of Nahar and Sawri . Her ruthless use of Amrit . Her constant bowing before obnoxious injustice personified by Tara and Kaveri ........under the excuse that the former is an elder and the latter is after all her brother's wife . Her show of bravado outside the house while inside the house she never dares cross Tara or Kaveri or Dheer . But honestly , even Dheer is better than Tara .

But faithful viewers that we r ,i guess we will continue watching this show popping BP pills in our mouth as we have no kaam dhanda in the evening after a hard days work .............😆

Whatever the story may be, I think all the actors did a fantastic job! Rajshree played her character very well, and that's the mian reason I watch Saat Phere.
As far as the story is concerned, all Indian dramas are like this😆, It's these twists and turns that rakes' the TRP's if everything was all perfect in the show, then it wouldn't be as interesting.
The only thing I didn't like at all was them killing Nahar and changing over the Amrit, that was totally unnecessary!

Arrre baba , where we want a seedha sadha story line , even we like twists and turns thats the whole point here !😆 Only thing is , we like to see the heroine winning after all these twists and turns , not losing so miserably ! And yes , we feel that the obnoxious villains shud lose too , not win constanttly like this ! Tara and Kaveri r r sitting pretty with their children whereas the heroine who had the fairy tale wedding , her state is worse than a bhikaari ..........whats this yaar !

And where the hell is prince charming ? Prince charming hi gayab ??!!! And heroine is widow !! 😆 Which viewer wanted to see this ?Ask anyone , the classes or the masses , no one wanted this ! Even today , on India forums heading , see how the story is described in one para , and see what they did to it !

Rajshree cud have done fantastic job even as she won , right ? Our complaint isnt with Rajshree's acting at all , its with what creatives did to storyline ! The TRP thing is another dicey funda , lets leave that aside for a moment . TRP toh wud have increased even more if Saloni had won ! Lekin yeh kya baat hui ki Nahar hi gayab ur Saloni jail mein ! For years ! We r seedhe sadhe log who wanna see heroines win and villains lose in the twists and turns !

Yes you are right! But i'm still hoping all will be well when the show ends😆.
If it's not then I will be very mad😡 😆!!
