Sharad Kelkar injured on Saat Phere sets "I was shooting for this action sequence in Film City on Tuesday morning where I was chasing Urvashi (Nivedita Bhattacharya) during which I had to jump and skip. While doing that shot I felt this severe pain in my left knee. I tried to ignore it initially but in the evening around 7 when I realized it had swollen badly I went to the doctor," informs the actor. Apart from over stressing himself the doctor has advised the actor many things about which he tells us, "The doctor has advised me to avoid bending, running, climbing stairs and doing any kind of action sequences. I am also supposed to tie a crepe bandage continuously even while shooting." Apart from this, he is taking special treatment for his leg. "I am going for physiotherapy which includes things like exercises, heat treatment, rice treatment and electric stimulation. I am supposed to go for this for 2-3 weeks after which I have to go for certain exercises." Despite his injury, the actor is not taking any rest. "My wife is taking care of me and helps me with certain things if I need anything. I do take rest in between the shots. And now I shoot for 8-10 hours instead of 12 hours," signs off the star. http://www.indya.com/news/newsDetails.aspx?xfile=2009/February/News_20090206_34 |
