If you haven't already heard the news yet, today's episode was probably the worst in the history of our SBS. I'm just as upset as the rest of you but I know for me, my love for the SBS we all know is keeping me anchored to the show. Somewhere, I feel like there is a chance (at least I do...I know there are many of us that don't feel the same way at all) that the CV's can redeem themselves and fix this problem and I do request people, just as someone who loves this show and is willing to stick with it through good and bad times, to please bear with the show in hope that things will get better one day. I have faith in this show that it will go back to being our beloved SBS one day or another...we just have to fight through this torturous period. Right now there are two possibilities:
~Toasty will find out the truth and will get Kiya kicked out of the house
~Toasty and Malti will reform Kiya and Kiya herself will realize her mistakes and get Vedika married
And honestly speaking (I know when we think logically about it, it doesn't seem right but we all have to leave logic and the real world when we're dealing with serials) I'm sure these could be turned into good outcomes. I know many of us don't want a Vedika marriage now but we know it'll happen and once its done and things have been forgiven and forgotten, we can consider it a bad dream and move on. So basically, if you have the strength to continue watching SBS, please do so, and give it a chance to redeem itself...if you don't, then that's fine too. I would just hate to see SBS go completely down the drain when I know it can pick itself up. If may just be that I was prepared for this ever since Rucha Gujurati said that her character was not a cameo but one that was sticking for a while, so it may have made the dhaka a little less painful for me. And with Nitika's situation, I feel horrible for her but like I said, she and Ved will end up with each other eventually and it's the way fictional dramas go :/ so I'm planning on just wiping all of this out of memory and moving on when that happens.

As we all know, today was a crap episode so it'll be a very short update on my part (also since I don't really have all that much time right now) If anyone wants me to actually post up a long detailed update (and I'm just making an assumption that no one really does) then please request for it below and I'll write it up when I get home later in the evening.
Written Update: February 2nd, 2012
~Ved tells Nitika and her parents his decision and that he's doing it for Pitaji 😡 Nitika's mom begs him to not do this to Nitika but Nitika stops her and tells Ved that if his father is most important to him, then even her parents and their respect is even more important to her. She leaves from there.
~Tej is murderously furious and demands that they pack up and leave and that what is going on is an outright sin. Pashu tries to say that they should stay for Ved but Tej refuses to be a part of this paap and tells Toasty chalo, we're leaving. Toasty is about to grab her things for them to leave when Ved comes in and requests Toasty and Malti to fulfill the shaadi rituals...Toasty is furious as well. She says I don't know whether or not what you're doing is right or wrong but I know that what you're doing with Nitika is absolutely wrong and breaking her heart will be a curse for our family, just see. (Thank you Tej and Toasty for being the voices of truth...too bad Ved and Pitaji are too caught up in their own drama to see it)
~Ved and Kiya get married. Everyone is unhappy except for Pitaji and Kiya...Tej and Toasty seem to be silently rebelling by being the only ones not throwing flowers. Dadaji is very upset and Pitaji tries to explain to him but Dadaji also says that what we've done to Nitika will come back to curse us. He tells Pitaji congratulations for fulfilling your friend's promise, but by doing that, you've ruined the happiness of your family. Pitaji of course seems affected but really he's not because he's too selfish and has too thick of a head to understand 😡
~Malti is sitting sadly in front of the grihapravesh thaali and her mom comes, apologizing for being late because of the train from the village. She brought gifts for Nitika and Malti tells her that Nitika isn't the bahu of this house and tells her mom the whole story. Shobha feels bad for Nitika. She then explains that Kiya is the bahu now so they'll still have to accept her happily into the house as it's not right to be depressed in a shaadi vaala ghar and every bahu is a ghar ki Lakshmi (not this girl, Shobha :@ This girl is devil :@...by the way, I know Shobha is super annoying with how happy she is for Ved and Kiya but at the same time I'm impressed with how genuinely nice and good wishing she is...I mean, she doesn't live in the house so she can't have the exact same feelings as the family members...I'm wondering if the CV's are finally redeeming her character now that they have a new villain in the house 😵 otherwise I would have thought that she'd be worried about Nitika being a bahu since she's Toasty's friend)
~Tej walks by furiously, ripping off his pagdi, and sees the grihapravesh thaali and says to Malti oh, so you're doing her grihapravesh? He says they are not welcoming happiness with this thaali but burning all their happiness in that fire. Everyone comes back from the mandir...Malti unhappily does Kiya's grihapravesh while Shobha blesses Ved and Kiya will her best wishes. Everyone else except Pitaji are frowning as well.
~Pitaji has Ved and Kiya get blessings from Vimla and Kiya tries to give a perfect bahu type speech. Army is unhappy and Tej and Toasty are just burning with anger.
~At the Sharma residence, Sudha is blasting off Ved and Pitaji for what they did with Nitika and that she feels pain for Nitika as she is her daughter too. Lalit feels sad too but tells Sudha that it's their family issue and we shouldn't say anything. Sudha is still fuming and says whatever they've done before is fine but this was an inhumane thing to do.
~Back at the C house, Prachin says how he wants to strangle Kiya for what happened to Nitika (so do I, Prachin...so do I) and Pashu yells at him saying that whether we like it or not, Kiya is a member of the family now and relations are important to us. Gyaan says even more important than a human being? Pashu asks them not to ask him questions that he can't answer...even he is not happy with Kiya being the bahu, so much that if she comes in front of him, he will not want to see her face, but it's Ved's decision and he will support Ved in whatever he does whether he likes it or not.
Pre-Cap: Shobha puts the plate with the ring and milk for the rasam and Kiya pulls the ring out...Tej and Toasty are standing there like hard angry statues...Ved isn't even playing...Shobha tells him its the last round to redeem himself but Ved is lost in his own world.
Chalo...I'll see you all on Monday. From next week, I'll be updating from Monday to Wednesday...and right now, I'm hoping my updates will be filled to the brim with Toasty making Kiya's life absolute hell.
