hey guys i hav jus finished readin the mahabharat for children (a small simple version) - to get an idea of the mahabharat, i know its shameful not knnowin much about it which i why i read the book , planning to reaad a much detailed version anycase i jus wanted to match the characters of the serial and the mahabharat so plz correct me if i am wrong!

bade dadaji – shantanu

baisa - ambika

dadaji (i.e. baisa's hubby) - vichitravirya

siddharnt's mother - ambalika

siddharnt - pandu

shkuntala – kunti

mansen - dhritrashtra

mansen's wife - gandhari

khushal - shakuni

yuvraj – duryodhana

vishaka – the only daughter of gabdhari

satya - yudhishthira

arjun – arjuna

keshav – sri Krishna

bhoomi – subhadra

suraj kiran – karana

chaiji – radha the wife of adhiratha who was a charioteer

now is manasvi supposed to be draupadi ?? and wht about ahefali whose character does she play?? And if I am missing sum one plz fill me in….

i think, manasvi is more like draupadi...shefali doesn fit into anything or any specific character.....and in mahabharta draupadi was one of the main lead woman...and here is bhumi(comparing to manasvi or when she will get marry to arjun)...i guess the difference is because....this are very modern days and mahabharta was thousands years ago....

Those were good comparisons - you missed one importnant one - Arjun's mom is akin to Kunti.

Also, Keshav is not Krishna- but closely resembles his character. I would think Bhoomi is definitely akin to Subhadra for because, if Keshav is Krishna, then bhoomi being his sister must be Subhadra.

yah, manasvi is more likely 2 b draupadi, and i think shefali is banumati, duryodhana's patni, correct me ppl if i'm wrong!!
