Raja can also be good in both high and low pitch with some practice. He can be good in soft, slow melody too, why not? But he will always be best in Rajasthani folk, where his roots lie.

Punjini is right. Kishore and Raja are Shores apart , but Raja will need to establish his own brand. Kishore's voice is very rich and beautiful.😆

Kishore's songs are for ever. But we can not bring him back now to sing today's song. so what if either Raja or Adnan Sami could re-record all Kishore Da's songs and see if they can do some justice.

Adnan Sami sing Kishore Kumar songs? 😕

See the thread was based on the article where 5 MD's were asked if they had a choice to make Kishoreda sing, which songs of theirs would they want him to sing.

Please its a request, keep C2007 participants out of it. They are no way connected to this discussion.

Thanks.

Kuch Na Kaho (1942- A Love Story)

Would comment on rest later...but could not stop from doing so for this. on this i would go by what appa said. this is a master piece by Kumar sanu. And no idea why i feel KK could not hv done it the same as Sanu has rendered. there's a softness in this song....which touches u. KK had a diff style (which at one time Sanu used to copy definitely but he did not do so here in this song)

Also i feel if he had sung it and made even a slight change in the song, it would not sound the same anymore. thats the reason that when it comes to master pieces its better not to mess with those.

I dont know, I still feel with RDB's music, Kishoreda's rendition Kuch na kaho may have become something stupendous. Those two together have created magic after magic. It may be Sanu's masterpiece... who knows what the final product would have been like has the KK - RDB duo had created it..

I do not know how you guys can compare KK with Raja?
Raja knows his limitations right now; so he rarely tried KK song.

Do you remember the "Pag Ghunguru" sang by Amanat on the final day. He did a great job on that. I think he will do justice on KK song.

KK came to Bombay around late 50s but he got his voice only with Rajesh Khanna in late 1960s and 70s. Later on Big B and others took over.

Bollywood never gives chances to new comers that easily.

The song has already become stupendous Adi... what for is it still remembered by people after years.... I never knew that it was RDB's last film composed.... I liked the song so I still remember it......

Coming to article.... I can only admire the answer given by Sandesh Shandilya, which was rather honest.... Its stupid to say that we would make him sing all the songs just to show respect..... Its okk if u say he cd sing lower and higher notes and he was versatile, we could have made this songs with him.... but saying that we could have done all songs is just overreacting and over respect....😊

Everyone except Sandesh Shandilya were trying to be modest and respectful with Kishore da.

This will be as if Mohd Rafi singing like Saigol.

Generation is changed now and music style is also changed. 60s and 70s had their time; 80s and 90s had their. But now music is completely different.

I do not think Kishore can do justice on Dard e Disco.

I do not bring KK down but this is generation gap.
