So Sandesh Shandiliya is trying to be different. No wonder is a three movie wonder. He is such a huge pandit of music that he could not find a single song for KK. 😡

Secondly, Ismail Darbar talks of composing music. When was the last time he composed a music piece? 😆 😆 😆

I would never do that. This song is a master piece. This is the only song that can put the nasal king Sanu in a legendary position. He was just perfect in this song. And you know, it is very difficult to improve something that is already perfect.

You know there is a story behind this song. This song was scheduled to be recorded one evening. Sanu showed up for the recording and was ready to record the song. However, he looked a little tired. RD asked Sanu to go home straight and to come for the recording first thing next morning with a freash mind and physical condition. RD told Sanu that most probably this will be one of my best composition and one of my last composition that people will remember, so I don't want you to sing in such a tired state.

Next moring a fresh as a daffodil Sanu arrived and recorded the song in one go. When the song finished, RD started cursing Sanu badly and came to Sanu and kissed him on his forehead and heart (chest), and blessed him. Sanu was shocked. He could not figure out why RD was cursing him and at the same time kissing him. 😆

Actually, it was RD style that when he became overjoyed with any singer's performance, he cursed them. The more he cursed, the better the performance was. 😆

Agree with Adi about the murder of Kuch na Kaho by Sanu. In fact I would like Kishore to re-sing the Sanu songs like "Do dil mil rahe hain" and and undo the damage done to them.

Yes, I would like Kishore to sing "Main hoon Don" composed by SEL too. In fact, he would do full justice to SEL songs like "Haan yahi rasta hain tera".

Why look for dead ducks when we have Aneek and Raja and Amanat. They cover the whole range of songs and we do not need anyone else. The world has more talent than we know. Even Kishore was not given a break until much later. No one is indispensible but only undiscovered.😆 😆 😆

There is no doubt that Kishore da would have rocked any song.

But the more important question for me is - which actor's voice would he have suited today?

I see most people recommending Kumar Sanu's songs, but we all know that Kumar Sanu faded out because his voice didn't suit most of today's hulky, manly heroes. Yes, he was good in the romantic 90s when we had Rahul Roy, and softy versions of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt.

So I'm really not sure if KK's voice would have suited any of the current A-list actors - maybe Salman Khan or Saif Ali Khan.

Well, there are actors beyond the Khans.
Kishore would certainly have suited both Abhishek and Hrithik.

SHady excepting for a handful of these actors the rest of the heroes all have deep voice. Kishoreda has lent voice for Dev Anand saab also, so no big deal. Hrithik, Abhishek, Ajay Devgan, even Akshay Kumat, vivek oberoi, Sunjay Dutt , Big B, it would have suited for all.
