Himesh's influence on SRGMP - Page 8

But Chitraji we must understand and be respectful that not all people have strong stomachs and spicy food and rich food cannot agree with them because some could even be diabetic or have other sicknesses. So Himeshji is going south to gather the "asli" spices from Chennai.😆

Well this discussion moved away from the initial topic since the ones discussing this thread for the past 2 days are people who totally disagree with the topic and any kind of suggestion by Amanat / Raja fans that the result of Aneek wining was because of any sort of influence. As per us, it was totally because his great singing abilities that he won. So we started discussing his singing and then got into a comparitive debate with Sonu's version of one of his songs and such the discussion got totally different direction.
BUt you should be happy that we kept the thread alive since only the 3 of us have been discussing such pationately on the same.

Well Jade and chitra I agree that without HR the show is boring. He added life to the show. No wonder he was paid 14-15 cr for that. I am sure when the channel dished out such a huge amount (more than the other 4 put together) they would have hoped that their TRPs sky rocket and I think HR's presence just did that. He is a man of the Masses and so added the masses to the show and made it the highest TRP. Something which he and the channel wanted hence they always bragged about being the No 1 in TRP.
What I like in him is his Honesty and the fact that he is always speaking what he believes in. Like when Raja was given Darde Disco to sing, he did not hide his displeasure to VS that Raja had the most popular song and Aneek had a song which no one had heard. No sugar coating - straight to the point. Or when he would feel that the other have sung better he would say - Aneek, Raja ne teri band baja di !
None of the judges were so open and direct, there was no hypocracy or any diplomacy. Plus he was so attached to Aneek that when Aneek did well he was beaming and when Aneek was overshadowed, he was also sulking.

Chitraji, If you go to www.saregamapa.rediff.com and press video, you can log on to Himesh teaching how to sing the song "Hum ko Diwana" He quite expertly modulates his voice especially the ending parts of a line "diwana kar gayeeeeeeee". It has a very nice effect.

Tell me one thing....Are you guys trained in Indian Classical or Light Indian Music? Or any experience in singing or other kind of Instrumentation?
