why only blessing for aneek

at the bigging of the finials, himesh told aneek that to take blessing of each contestnat, i thought it was funny but when he told aneek to take blessing of the elsed guru bappi da, i was shoked he only told that to aneek and not the other, but once again vishal saved the night, lol

Himesh is out to embarasse himself and I dun know i juz cant tell u how much his attitude annoyz me but whtever Vishal and Shekhar truely ROCK ive alwayz felt that they are the TRUE rockstarz of the show

Tell me now. Did this thought of taking blessings came to ANY of the other mentors mind?? NO. When Himesh mentioned then everyone recalled and aksed other also to follow.

Did any of the mentor even gave a thought to Bappida? NO.

Appreciate where it is due. The fellow have many drawbacks but has some positive side too. Its disgusting to see his positive sides also being shown negatively.

wen he asked aneek to do this, i knew annek was gonna win...this was ALL scripted...HR knew frm the beginning he was gonna win...who would accept being a looser twice?!

Bhaskar, it was definitely not in good taste to ask only Aneek to go and take blessings from Bappi. HR could easily have asked all the 3 to take blessings from Bappi. It would have shown his good taste.

It's not as if other mentors are wilfully ignoring Bappi or anything like that.

But, the fact still remainds that it was ONLY Himmy who remembered Bappida and what he told Aneek about taking blessing, its indeed a good gesture. Vishal Sekhar Ismailji had ample chance to advice the parti cipants too, what stopped them from doing it first?

I don't agree here. So many times other mentors have made such statements - Jao Beta sabke pav chhu lo. None of you then open topic for that.

But because it is Himesh this time you all find fault. Other mentors ignored him, now willfully or otherwise don't matter to me. It was Himesh who reminded all that someone called Bappida, who was a big part of the show is also present here.... So give him his due. None had that courtesy to do so.

Can't you see that it is all showmanship on HR's part? How do you know that only HR remembered Bappi?

I mean, what if other mentors had already asked their contestants to take Bappi's blessings in private before the show? The point is that HR wants to show off each and every little gesture he makes in front of the public eye. Let him do that, no problem, but with taste.

He is an elder for all the contestants. It looks very strange when he says "Aneek, go and take blessings from Bappida". It looks appropriate when he says "I would like all the participants to take blessings from Bappida".

There are moments when a mentor's "badappan" or the lack of it come to the fore. Like when Vishal-Shekhar went to the stage for all 3 contestants and danced (in the episode when they came late). It clearly showed they wished well for all the contestants. Saying it is one thing but showing it "genuinely" to use a hackneyed phrase is another thing.

In Vinit's case in C-2005, HR went on and on about his sanskaar was very good, so people should vote for him, indicating that other contestants' sanskaar was not up to the mark. Last night he said something about Aneek being the youngest and therefore he should be the winner. Did ID or VS advance any such logic last night? They just came, enjoyed and went. They can look beyond a contest.

Anyway, I guess we can agree to disagree here. Something that looks out of place to me might not, to you.
