I can't agree more with you Deep. It was Amanat's day. He proved beyond doubt that he is the best among this whole lot.

What performances!!! Ghazal I thought fine thats his own high point but then the clasical. Mindblowing!!! I was completely mesmerised when he was singing.

The show finished a few mins bak n my ears r still ringing with his voice. The others were excellent too but it was simply his day.
I agree with you that he was never hyped and even though he was embroiled in the love story drama, he tried to handle it with grace.
His versatility was also never in question. I have been following srgm ever since it started in 1995 and todays show reminded me of those days when the discussions used to be about music rather than topi and stuff.

his performances were absoltely oustanding...he's a winner all the way...if even ppl like pandit jasraj and jagjit singh admit that- theres nothing more left to say...he's totally taken over my heart with his voice...so consistent, so smooth, so beautiful...YOU GO AMANAT!

I think today all are good, I liked Raja's gazal, Amanat's albela sajan and Poonam's kuhu kuhu.. . I think Poonam was awesome, it is very tough song to sing and she sang it effortlessely.

There are some that are unwilling to listen to Amanat because they're stuck with the Raja hype + Aneek hype.. but if they truly listen, they'll know that Amanat is the true winner. Tonight's performance left me with goosebumps.. literally.. never heard anything better..
