Your Opinion for this week's shows - Page 6

Friday's episode was GREAT!! More so because they FINALLY got people who know about music to comment on the singing and not some airheaded actors promoting their movies and music. And they FINALLY got the live orchestra Back after such A LONG TIME!!! My goodness I was missing that! Live makes all the difference - it made Aneek's Satrangi Re on Saturday a wonderful performance!

Ghazal round
Amanat - kya ghazal choose kari - the lyrics were amusing. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I noticed his breathing problem too but not sure if it was intentional or not hmm...
His HDDCS semi-classical number was AWESOME!! Go Amanat!
Raja - great performance with Awargi :)
Didn't too well in the 2nd round
Aneek - 2nd performance of Laaga chunri mein daagh was just FANTASTIC!!
Poonam - it was sad to see her leave with her mom and little kiddo crying :( She was Great in the first round. 2nd round she sounded kind of shrill at some point but still WHAT A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE!! A very tough song to sing!!

OSO episode
- This was such a Fun episode! Minus HR and his stupid idiotic jealous comments. I am glad Shekar kept him at bay or atleast tried to!
Amanat - I love the fact that he sings in his own voice. He doesn't sound like an Udit, Sonu, Abhijeet or whatever. Great job with both Ajab Si and Mitwa :-) Although he sang Mitwa before, it sounded much better this time around to me.

Aneek - Satrangi Re was FANTASTIC!!! Agar mein Kahoon was good but Sonu is Sonu I guess and he sounded so much like him but with a bit of immaturity in his voice. Oh well I'll stop w/ the Sonu comparisons since both songs he sang were Sonu songs but he sang them with a lot of heart and soul.

Raja - I wanted him to sing Dard-e-Disco cuz I knew he would totally rock it :) :) And he did!! Chaiyya Chaiyya was another Masterful performance!

Wah Wah!!! both Friday and Saturday ko maaza aagaya!
It was great to see HR keep his mouth shut on Friday due to the esteemed judges - what a Relief that was!! He was back in his element on Saturday but thankfully my ffwd and mute buttons stay handy every time I see his jealous face.

For Sat

OSO round was great fun.
Amanat- usual consistent self.

Aneek - beauuuuuutiful performance he rocked bigtime. I would rate as his best performance along with teumse milke. Aneek, please stick to soft lyrical numbers, they suit you voice at this stage. And I will be v happy if u win.

Raja - equally as good. This guy know s how to set the stage on fire.

Impossible to choose among the 3, I cannot answer who is best, and I doubt there is a clear answer. Also I don't think it matters anymore who comes 1,2 or 3. Like Farah said we are above marks etc now.

I just felt Aneek had the more beutiful song, and that was the advantage. Singing wise all 3 were magnificant.

SRK choice round - now here I felt all 3 were more interested in showing off thier singing prowess more than the songs. The emotional appeal got a little lost along the way (and Raja, there was no need for dance). If I had to choose it would be Amanat, he integrated the alaaps with the lyrics and stopped just short of overdoing it.

Totally, agree with you. Amanat too good yaar! Aneek was very good. Raja was good on saturday, but not on friday. I think Poonam did a better job than Raja on Friday.

Well, Amanat rocked as usual for both OSO, Ghazal and Semi Ghazals. He does not need any thing else after Jigjit And Jasraj ji declared him #1. I mean, I go so emotional when he alaaped in 'Mitwa'. He is just un-compareable singer.

Aneek also rocked in the Sat episode. Raja was ok.

Although they did give him good comments ut I didn't like at the end the ID said to his fans give my Amanat's votes to Raja thats just not fair. I felt Raja was short of breath in chayiaan chayiaan he did so many mistakes. All three were good but I think Amanat was flawless👏👏👏

Aneek was lucky to dance with Dipeeka and he truly deserved it for being outstanding. She has now become her fan too. 😉
