I agree with you when you say we should ask people why they vote for other contestants besides mauli. But, at this stage in the show, it's pretty much clear, or has been clear, that she is the weakest. Alot of us want to know, even if the fans like her singing, why about her singing do they like😕 I find this a reasonable discussion, as long as it doesnt become personal towards her or the fans.

I am not her fan, but this girl knows how to market herself and she has been very successful.
She knows her limitations in singing and after seeing that she has a huge loyal fan base, has fed off it week after week, and with this, her confidence has grown, she now feels that she can win this competition because she has been given the added exposure by ZEE TV
Zee has and is already giving her more air time than other contestants and she has seized upon that to make herself more noticeable on the stage, because she knows that the camera will focus on her more and she has taken full advantage of it. Just look at her facial expressions and body language image. In her eyes, she is a winner because she knows that she has the backing of the NRIs abroad who want a NRI to win this competition.

Zee and the phone companies are also making more money based on overseas votes.

😆 I think you mean NOT All NRI's are backing her but few are. Infact Indians are also voting for her whatever be their reason.

I'll agree with you on the zee's profit form over seas votes. $1 = 48. Its $1 to vote, so zee is receiving 48rs compared to the three or four they receive from indians in india. Mauli's unlimitedly votes for her so zee is banking a lot off of her.

While it seems credulous that Zee profits are high by voting overseas (due to Rs vs $ conversion rate) but the larger pie still falls into the coffers of phone company. Zee's profits still lie largely in India. Overseas the profits come primarily from subscriptions and of course adv.

BESIDES THE COMMON CORRUPTION WITHIN INDIAN CULTURE, MAULI IS PROBABLY THE WORST SINGER IN THE SHOW'S HISTORY!

I think you phrased it wrongly. Culture is not corrupt, the vices are corrupt and thats not related to any culture.
