Thanks for the "sheltering melody" article, punjiniji.
I always say that "Choices just like life is a personal thing ..." and everyone is entitled to their own views ... but to question whether Khayyam is a legend or not doesn't seem proper and is indeed based on ignorance ...
I have no fancy whatsoever towards The Beatles or Elvis Priestley, yet I cannot question their contribution to the rock and roll era of the 60s and 70s and the impact it had on the western musical scene ...
P.S. No offence is meant to anyone with this post. I think going forward this disclaimer is necessary since people tend to jump the gun and start defending with a sword in hand ....
😉 😉 😉
How contradictory of two statements.... I never said that he cant be a legend.... I always maintained that for me he can not be a legend, because I am not much obsessed with his work.... So cant it be my personal choice?????
Again the point I wanted to make across has been said by Punjiniji.... that their work was good because they had good lyricist, good musicians, and good singers.... it also goes with last weeks quote of the week....
"When u have all forces for u, u will always shine... but a real person shines with his own confidence even if all the forces are against the person"
cheers
