You are right. It was so unfair eliminating Anita, just because she is from Ekalavya gharana. Like in history, this Ekalavya also got unfair treatment. This mentoring thing this is really turning to be a ********. They are just bulling, even the guest judges are like puppets. Only Ashaji spoke her mind, so she had to face these manipulative mentors.

agree on asha. she was specific in her remarks, for the most part directed them at someone's singing, and was generally positive and constructive. that self-assurance comes from the security of knowing who and what she is. unlike folks who might be very successful but know deep down they are there because of their machinations, not their inherent talent.

roshan and khayaam are perhaps the worst judges. too bad because i liked them on other fronts. i think even the last time in c2005, khayaam was involved in some kind of judging controversy. as for ID and HR, i suppose one should know better than to expect anything else from them.

Saaberi I feel is very underrated. She looks good and is a great singer. She needs to lose some weight and then she will look like a million bucks.

the episode of the 9th just aired in the UK...

Saberi ~ I do like her voice...teeny-weeny bit strange on the long notes, but overall very nice 😊

Junaid - Another good performance..definitely versatile 😊

Harpreet - Very nice performance, but shame none of the judges bothered to comment much (but maybe it was edited out..who knows) 😕

Anita - Considering she had a bad throat, this was still a decent attempt 😊

Brijesh - Felt bad for him, but I could've hugged Vishal and Shekhar for their positive comments ..hehe! 😳

Mauli - Alright. My blood pressure hit the roof when Himesh decided to step in and do some marketing on her behalf. 😡 Yes, she sang Maiya Maiya very well, but overall Anita was ahead based on the 2 performances..

What was with the songs that kept being played over the end (along with the thunder sound effects?) lol...

Overall, I really enjoyed the 8th June episode, but my mood was spoiled with this one... oh well...

Highlight of the show
Junaid and Saaberi getting the record contract and not just a promise. Shekhar looked HOTTTTTT as always but I didn't like the T-shirt. He should hire me as his personal stylist.

Performances

best were Junaid and Harpreet in guys. I felt really bad for Harpreet because the judges and mahagurus barring Raju uncle totally ignored his good performance. Poor guy was just standing there as Mouli unfairly is treated like a royalty and got to sing the whole Mayya Mayya song.
That wasn't cool at all.

Saberi was awesome! The song sounded like a studio recorded song. her singing i felt was flawless. Again proving that she is ver underrated. the red outfit was cute and she looked beautiful.

Anita was good too.

Brijesh
He was really bad. I felt bad for him as Ismael was very rude to him and then he cried. awwww but Vishal was such a kind hearted person and tried hard not to keep his spirit down.

Mouli
I WILL NEVER FORGIVE HER FOR BUTCHERING HRITHIK'S SONG. It was again like noise pollution. They should have run a warning sign before they played that god awful performance. A lot of people were probably mentally scarred. Then Himesh and his manipulative big mouth had to give her another chance to sing Mayya Mayya.

At that point I had it and fast forwarded the song. Poor Harpreet got the cold shoulder from everyone. That was rude..

I felt really bad for Anita, the whole Mouli being given another chance made me sick to the stomach. Himesh didn't even offer any kind encouraging words to someone of his own gharana. He is so selfish and it is clear he is partial towards members of his own gharana. 👎🏼

r u going to sing Mayya Mayya every episode...especially when u ummmmmmmm destroy a perfectly wonderful song before???

So on d days w special themes-Oldies Indipop Patriotic Bhangra or a special MD day expect Mauli to sing Mayya Mayya & Mussarat to sing a Rahet Fateh Ali Khan song...

Oh well...I hope the producer cuts it out so we wont have to listen to those songs again...

Dont get me wrong but I luv d songs it's jus hearing them over & over & over again by d same singer in d competition...which is totally unfair to all other contestants,b/c not every1 is gettin a 2nd chance & d viewers b/c we have to endure it every time...

She does not deserve to b in d competition...

I did not see it so dont know but was mauli so bad???

I agree with u rahul. present day singers just now are not of that caliber to sing every genre song. That part by Himesh was maybe not too correct. I believe it from my heart that if Rafi had been given to sing that deepak raag sung by Saigal he would hav done equal justice and same if Saigal was asked to sing the raag based songs by manna dey or Rafi he would hav done it easily.

The main reason being they were much better trained and dedicated to music than the present generation ones. This is the main reason why we are not getting versatile singers today. they are good singers but no where near the ones Himesh commented upon.

And because they lack this versatility its better that they follow what himesh is saying. let them perform the ones that suit their voice. but the second part he is saying that after u beocme succesfull u can go for versatility is nothing but a joke. U are either a versatile singer or u are not. at this age after all the practice now the voice is set to a particular type of singing. now it will be difficult infact maybe impossible to change that.

First time I am disappointed by HR for arguing in favor of Mouli, who should be eliminated on satday. Because of HR's antics one good singer Anita got booted out. I totally agree with you. Himesh should not support mauli only on look wise. She sang so bad. Vishal was so right\' this contest is based on versatality , not on parrot like ratta hua song, but feel pity on maha judges who give the decision in favor of mauli...God bless Srgmp and mayya mayya😛

as far as i think, himesh wants to proove his point that the singers who can sing only one genre of songs are best as his Musharrat can sing only one genre too, so to make his point strong , he shouted, mauli sing, mayya.bappi lehri was sitting quitely , but Himesh😭
