Yesterday's Episode:

Junaid he was just awesome!!!👏👏👏
I don't know about Saaberi. I think she was OK.😕
Mauli totally screwed the song up! She couldn't sing the high parts right...She was OK at the low parts that KK sung...I dunno it was like torture to my ears and yeah she totally westernized it.🤢
Anita was better than Mauli yesterday. She was great, and so was Poonam.
Harpreet's Afreen was great too! I really liked his song. It was fab.👏
Aap Ki Khashish by Mussarat was 2nd best. I don't know why Junaid didn't get the green card. Ohh well Mussarat was good too, but I think he messed up in some places.😆
Brijesh well he just...wasn't good at all. Shabhe Firaq is not his song.

Today's Episode:

Anita wasn't that good today but she was better than Mauli. Jeesh if it wasn't for Himesh, she would have surely been eliminated!😡 She told him to sing one line of Maiyya Maiyya but she ended up singing the whole song. She just can't make the right choices when it comes to picking songs... And it was soo not fair for Anita to get elimated instead of Mauli because she was better both the days than Mauli.
Junaid was good today and so was Saaberi.
Once again, Harpreet did a terrific job with his song!👏
Brijesh -- Well kinda feel sorry for him but he had to go because he was the worst. I mean even worser than Mauli lol.😆

P.S. Aditya was lookin really cute today.😳 That jacket totally suits him!

Just finished seeing June 9th show..Lots of emotions..Anita broke down..Brijesh also became very emotional..His story revealed what struggle the singers have to go through..He was so disappointed with loosing this big chance..VS wants to have a "sitting" with him in the morning..

It is interesting to note that every mentor tell Maully on her face that they are her fans..Himesh made sure Rajesh Roshan and Khayaam saab listened to her "maya maya"...and really saved her..Maully's magic is working..She is their "TRP's Rani" 😆 Zee won't let her go ..if she was eliminated today..she would have come back with brahamastra round..because all the mentors are her "fans" 😃

Harpreet sang well, Junaid not upto the expectations, Saberi songs seems to be enjoyable..The girl who lost was Anita ..felt bad for her..

The programs continue to have the grimness and Shaan has provided much needed relief in such situations in the past..Aditya is slowly developing his own style..but his age go against him..

Overall, enjoyed the program even though the standard was not too high..

Here is my input for this week's shows:

Hit Gharana; Junaid and Saberi were very good. RR complimented them that they reminded them of Rafisaab and Ashaji. I enjoyed Gustakhe Dil as well Mei Paal Do Paal that Junaid sang. Saberi did equal justice to Mithe Mithe Vade as well as Pardesiya.👏👏

ID Gharana........ Poonam just amazes me and she sure is a power house and a versatile singer.

Brijesh......... well he got eliminated. Compared to other contestents he was not all that good but I do feel sorry for him.

HR Gharana: Anita sang very well. Her Ishq Mei........ was very good and on the first day she got lot of compliments both from mentors as well as judges.

Musarrat........ he is just great.👏 Vishal advised him to not to overuse high pitch.

Josh Gharana.............I was stunned when Mauli sang Soniye. She was pathetic coming from the Maiya Maiya gal. Bapida had said he will coach her and after two weeks off she came up with this. Her todays performance Idhar Chali was slightly better than yesterdays..... If she had not been made to sing Maiya Maiya again she would have been out today. I am sorry to say this for Anita was way better than Mauli.

Harpreet..... His Aapki kasam and Kyu Chalti Hai Pawan were both too good.👏

Overall the contestents have improved. I am very disappointed that Anita was let go when she proved herself more versatile than Mauli. I do wish Mauli all the best but this is not the way to keep a contestent in. It was sickening to see her relatives standing with banners and going ga ga over her performance of yesterday. Now with public voting she will drag on.

Himesh's episode was rocking! The singers seemed more comfortable singing his songs. And yes, he has a lot of variety in his music - at least 4 genres 😆 . The mahagurus' episode was good too - great songs by both the legends. 👏

Mussarat was very good in Himesh's round, but I liked Junaid more. It was tight. But today the mukhda of the ghazal he sang at the beginning of the show (Phir chhedi baat) totally floored me. 👏 Just for that song I wish he had been part of the whole show today. Junaid was also good on both days. Hope he too makes it to Agnipariksha. Harpreet as always was deep and touching - he's my favorite non-Pakistani contestant. Brijesh was lesser than the other 3, and deserved to go, but felt bad for him at the end of the show, although I thought he was desperately trying to get a song or 2 before he went.

Poonam is my favorite among the girls, and was happy to see her reach finals. Sad about her father, though . Shaberi was solid as always on both days, and I think she's definitely Agnipariksha material. Anita was better than Mauli, despite a sore throat. Felt sad when she said she didn't wanna leave. Might be called back in Bramhastra. Mauli was bad on both days. Her screeching in 'Soniye' is still running through my ears, and in 'Idhar chali' she had no sense of music whatsoever. It was a difficult song, though, but it was still comtemporary - and she messed it up. Many have complained about Mauli not being worthy of going through to next round - but in any case, she'll most probably be out in Chakravyuh, so not much harm done (unless they call her back in Bramhastra, and public brings her back into the finals 🤢).

Bappi da finally talked during a controversy this time, and suggested that Mauli chose the song against his wishes. Serves her right, then. Vishal-Shekhar took a leaf out of the other mentors' book and offered a contract to members of their gharana. Agreed with Vishal this time about too much leeway being given to Mauli. Ismail was back to his sharp self this week - saying Mauli Idhar udhar giri, and telling Brijesh he should open up a pan shop instead of singing like he did.

But the man of the week was Himesh. It was his special - and just like the man, it was an emotion packed affair. There were touching stories about him and his childhood, and we saw the man behind the mask (or the topi). He also honestly admitted how he used to feel jealous of other MDs before. They also managed to slip in a little promotion of his upcoming movie. I will watch that for sure.

poor performance-- mauli both days, brijesh both days

The show seems to have lost some basic attitude from so proclaimed GURUS--specially Himesh Reshamiya, and his counterpart Ismail Durbar. How come Gajendraji has given blanket permit for Himesh to run the show--who is Himesh to order Mauli to resing the whole repeat number of the one and only one song that she had once sang good. Why is Himesh dictating terms on other Gurus specially Nikhil/Vinay? Himesh is super hyper and thinks that he is the sole mentor of singers on this show--probably he is seeing Mauli as his only suitable female playback voice to match his own--. No participant on this show has had 2 songs for judgement--execption is Mussarat--but that was ordered by the JUDGE ASHA BHOSLE--not GURU> someone need to let Himesh know he is not a JUDGE--he is there as a GURU.

Ok my two cents:

I liked Junaid and Saberi's performances.

Poonam was good but not great. Brijesh was pathetic. 🤢

Mussarat was good but to me I like Junaid's song better and think he should have been given an entry directlly.

Ankita was good and i think she got robbed.

Harpreet was good too.

Mauli sucked. She should have been voted out. HR shouldnt have made her sing that second song. I am sure that influenced the judgement.

I like HR's dad part yesterday.

Always hope ji, you got most of the names wrong ! Gajendra Singhji is history as afr as Zee SRGMP show is concerned. He now works for Star.

The other guru duo is Vishal Shekhar.

Well technically three, Ashaji wanted Jyoti also to sing again that song after she suggested the correction and she ahd judged Jyoti on her corrected version.

But mauli actually was the second weak spot today after Brijesh.
