Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: As Abhira accepts Armaan’s friendship, Geetanjali makes a shocking demand

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Geetanjali, feeling scared, holds Armaan's hand and asks where he had gone, saying she was alone and would have been frightened if a ghost appeared. Armaan gently removes his hand and reassures her that there is no ghost, explaining that it was just the old manager trying to scare her. He tells her to rest and says he will be back.

Geetanjali’s Fear and Armaan’s Comfort

As he gets ready to leave, Geetanjali holds his hand again, pleading with him not to go because she feels very scared. Armaan assures her he will stay in the next room and encourages her to try to sleep, but she refuses, saying she cannot sleep alone and asking him to stay.

Armaan agrees to sit on the chair nearby. Geetanjali tries to sleep, still frightened, but soon wakes up and asks him to sit next to her. Though he hesitates at first, when she insists that she is very scared, he finally sits on the bed beside her, telling her to sleep and reassuring her that he is there. Geetanjali lies down and holds his hand tightly, insisting she needs to hold it to be able to sleep, and Armaan allows her, telling her to relax since he is right there.

Kaveri Prepares to Scare Sundar

Kaveri, with makeup on her face, tries to scare Abhira and Maira by pretending to be a ghost, but when she sees that they are not impressed, she gets upset. Maira remarks that Kaveri looks like a friendly ghost, to which Kaveri responds that she is not just friendly but also fit.

Abhira adds that Sundar doesn't need muscles to scare someone with his looks. Kaveri then suggests calling Armaan, remembering that in his childhood, he used to scare children by pretending to be a ghost, and even they had once been frightened by him. Abhira refuses and starts doing Kaveri's makeup, saying they shouldn't disturb Armaan and Geetanjali during their honeymoon.

Meanwhile, once Geetanjali falls into a deep sleep, Armaan gently removes his hand and quietly leaves the room. Kaveri and Maira tease Abhira for being overly serious and attempt to tickle her. At that moment, Abhira accidentally bumps into Armaan, creating an awkward moment between them.

Curious, Armaan asks Kaveri who did her makeup, noticing even Maira seems unimpressed. Kaveri admits it was Abhira, prompting Armaan to compliment her work. Kaveri then seeks Armaan's help with her lines, and he agrees, planning to give her a spooky makeover.

Kiara Learns About Mussoorie Trip

Elsewhere, Manisha and Manoj are busy feeding Kiara. She learns that Abhira, Kaveri, Maira, Armaan, and Geetanjali are all in Mussoorie together and asks about Kajal and Sanjay. Manisha informs her that the couple went out of town. Kiara worries about how to explain that she was staying with Abhir and faces a lecture from Manisha about protecting the family's reputation.

Armaan’s Scary Makeover for Kaveri

Back at the resort, Armaan works on Kaveri's scary look. Abhira and Maira are shocked by the transformation, with Abhira confident that Sundar won't be able to hide the truth any longer. She tells Maira to rest, but Maira insists on witnessing Kaveri and Sundar's impending confrontation. Armaan helps take care of Maira as well. Abhira reminds everyone that Sundar could arrive anytime, so Kaveri must be ready.

Sundar enters the resort and is greeted by Abhira, but he quickly asks her to stay quiet, sensing that a ghost might be nearby. When Maira asks about the objects in his hands, Sundar reveals that it is his special yantra, which will show exactly where the spirit is, and asks them not to disturb him.

He then moves around the resort, pretending to search for the ghost. In the next scene, Abhira leads him to a room, saying this is where the noises were coming from. Sundar performs a spell and tells Abhira and Maira that the ghost is asking them, along with Kaveri, to leave the resort. He then pretends to communicate with the ghost, warning them to leave in order to protect themselves.

Kaveri’s Act to Expose Sundar

Meanwhile Kaveri, pretending to be possessed, cries out for help, expecting Sundar to intervene. Abhira comments that Sundar will rescue them, but he refuses, causing him to question whether there are actually real ghosts at the resort.

Suddenly, Kaveri, disguised as a ghost, makes a dramatic entrance to frighten Sundar. She confronts him, accusing him of using ghosts to torment her, Abhira, and Maira, and demands a confession. Sundar decides to reveal the truth, while Armaan readies his camera to record the admission. However, Kaveri starts feeling warm, and Abhira notices her makeup melting. Maira says they need to warn Kaveri, and Abhira asks how they will do it. The episode ends on this suspenseful note.

Precap for the Next Episode

In the precap, Armaan suggests becoming friends with Abhira. As she moves to hug him, Geetanjali suddenly arrives. Later, Geetanjali confronts Abhira, saying that as long as she stays close to Armaan, he will never be able to fully move on with Geetanjali because her presence keeps attracting him.

Abhira assures her that she has no such intentions. Geetanjali explains that, whether or not it is Abhira’s fault, it is now her responsibility to ensure that Armaan forgets her. She entrusts Abhira with the task of safeguarding her marraige with him.
