This is a good question.. I hv seen him wearing many topi's.. so maybe seven days and seven topi's or two days one topic 😕 😆

I have a question - Do you wear topi even while you are inside your house? Like while sleeping, eating also?? 😕

There's something else I'd like to add about HR - may be it's something that's already been said.

ALL his songs sound very similar. Like they say, 'if you've heard one, you've heard them all.' I don't know what creativity or genius people insist he has, 'coz if he did, it should've shown by now.

Something else too... They say that a vessel that's half full makes a lot of noise. It is so true of HR, especially in his demeanor and attitude.

Yes, it has all been said before. 😆

Punjini, great questions.

I just hope that "We know you have a unique, God-gifted voice" was written in a sarcastic tone. God-gifted!!! God save us from pure noise!

I will add one more question:

Why do you have to repeat a word several times to compose a song? (Sample: Zara(5) zhoom, saka laka(8) boom (2))

*****************

And yes, do know that roughage is important for regular bowel movements. Eat some raw vegetables and fruit, so that your voice flows well, and does not let us feel that you have a painful bout of constipation!

Before Zee's SRGMP, I did not know of his existence . But in this programme, I heard his so-called music and got to see his exasperating behaviour. Reminded me of the expression Ek to karela, us par bhi neem chadha.

that is fine but what makes you put your concerns again and again... you work as a criticiser of work... then you can put your concerns forth to the people criticising his music... He is not alone who behaves with ego on SRGMP... the other ex-successful MDs also behave bluntly, except Bappida because he does nt find hindi words at all.... as far as C 2005 was concerned... as u have brought it... the first step by any mentor which turned the events was ID walk-out.... everything chaged after that... Still HR supported the people from his gharana who would have left their singing career for the want of work.... Calling spade a spade always calls for criticism... and I admire him that he has survived so much criticism and still without detering is giving hit music to the public of India... If after C 2005 his haters increased, why his album that came at teh end of C 2005 was a success, why is it that his music is still selling.... may be he has ruined one song mehbooba... but a MD can not be judged with one song... Whatever people say he has hits to his account... and no there is no concern increase in of voice pollution or ear defects that has been reported yet...😆

Most ridiculous of all is the way, he takes the mike immediately after someone sings his song and begins to explain how to get the ashiq's 'dard' into the song. It's a different matter that what he causes is "kaan mein dard". He behaves as if he is the only tortured ashiq roaming around in the world. I think he can only be his own ashiq - he is in love with himself. And self-love has no rivals!

Everyone does that... Ashaji also sang the song to tell how u have to sing because it was her song... So did HR... and if you are singing sad song with enjoyment you are sure going to miss the contest... so what is wrong that he told him that emotions were lacking... and his songs were bearable to my ears... if your ears were hurting there must be some other reason😃

Asha sings a part of those songs where she thinks the correction is needed, and these are not necessarily her songs; she was doing it for songs of Kishore and Lata also.

As for the great Himesh, HE cannot sit by for one second after a contestant finishes HIS song and he has this unstoppable compulsion to get up and re-sing the whole song, to demonstrate the so-called gamut of emotions which apparently only Himesh experiences. Once he said "inko maine mana kiya tha. Mera gaana mat gaana, bahut mushkil gaana hain" 😆.

* What are the four genres of songs that you have composed?
classical & semi classical(tere naam, banaras,nd few more of them),county(its lik a style which is abt ones countyr,u can call it desi),rock(tere layee nd ye dooriyaa 4m fool n final nd more i cant remember, blues(few songs in b/w)nd there r probably more, hes being modest
* Could you please pronounce the French word 'genre' correctly as zawhn ray? Better still, since the programme is in Hindi why not use a Hindi word? Is there no equivalent for 'genre' in Hindi? Instead of screaming "I LOVE YOU" at Asha, how about learning some Hindi from her?cud u write whole of this article in hindi?agar aapko khud apni hindi nahi pasand, aur aajkal kisi ko bhi hindi nahi pasand,to sirf ek insaan pe ilzaam lagana theek hai?wo bhi tak jab us insaan pe laakho aur ilzaam zyadatar bebuniyaad pehle se hi lage hua hain.he just pronounced a word wrongly, ppl mes up with prununciations,nd are u a fench who doesnt lik a single word pronounced ritely?he said i love you asha,he has sung with asha, are u jelous ppl r finally accepting him?
* You yell at your students to never sing the songs of Rafi, Lata, Asha and other greats but think it is fine to sing songs of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Could you explain the logic?he has exlplained more than enough now.there r many singers if u cud only open ur eyes who hav been trying 2 copy gr8 singers,nd never able 2 make big.if u want example, just take on account, mohammad aziz,a carbon copy of mohammad rafi, minus the immortal style.nd sonu nigam did a lot of dedications, but he had 2 evolve his style 2 make it big.vijayta pandit copies lata completely, wheres she in music scenario?nd rahat hasnt been exposed, rather his genre, the genre which he sings hasnt been exposed fully in bollywood.moreover, mussarrat's voice isnt similar to rahat,so he wud get his own style in tht genre very soon.lik himesh changed vinit from a soon to be sonu-clone into a fresh singer!
* Why is it so difficult for you to be consistent? One minute you shout "ISMAIL DARBAR ISMAIL DARBAR ISMAIL DARBAR ISMAIL DARBAR" and say he is completely responsible for the good performance of a contestant; next minute you say "lekin aapne bhi utna hi mehnat kiya hain". Please make up your mind.every1 says tht,if ur so rite, then listen 2 ismail's comment ritely,u'll get mad very soon!
* Could you keep your sentences short? We all have short attention spans and cannot listen to a discourse every time.so how can u listen 2 a song means mukhda +1 antra,u got a short memory, try recording them, listen songs one by one,lik mukhda once, then 5 minutes later antra, then 5 minutes later comments.
* You tell your students that versatility is not important, being good in one genre is important. You have already slotted your contestants into various genres and have assumed that they cannot sing anything else. How come Mussarat was able to sing a Rafi song like "gulaabi aankhey" when you had slotted him as a Sufi singer??he wasnt able 2 sing,he was able 2 copy.theres a lot of difference in it.
* Your intention of ensuring that your contestants are always well-fed and well-off is laudable. But isn't this contest about choosing the best voice of all? The best voice will emerge only after subjecting it to various tests - of singing various genres (your fave word!).he chose his voices himself, going 2 places, now competition can get singers lik qazi win,so its better they get their singers chance by themselve.is it really ur problem?
* Why do you need to get up and sing the same song immediately after a contestant has finished singing your composition? We know you have a unique, God-gifted voice, but please spare us - we just heard the contestant!
y dun u close ur ears?hes doing it 4 millions of fans he has.im happy he does tht.
* It is so noble of you to take some of your contestants on a world tour with you. But please, will you allow them to sing songs not composed by you?has he stoppes any1 4m singing song of pancham da,bappi da or ismail in their rounds?y wud he hav a problem?dint vinit sing every song very nicely?

now im not himesh any day,no1 can be himesh i bet.but im just being a gud fan, helping him 4m useless questions.sorry himeshji,ur the best, but phool ke saath kaante bho hote hain 😊

Dear Paagalji, I had great problems reading your answers because you have mixed up questions and answers. Looks like you are a genuine fan of Himesh.

I didn't quite understand your logic about writing an article in Hindi. Is this a Hindi forum? If it was, I would be writing in Hindi.

Didn't also understand what you are saying about Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. You are saying that since he is still not so well-known in Bollywood, it is OK to copy him? Did Himesh really change Vineet from a Rafi-clone to a fresh singer? This is news to me.

You are claiming that Himesh happily allows contestants to sing songs by golden era composers? Looks like you have not seen the episode where he argued with Asha and said he had instructed Mussarat not to sing any Rafi or Kishore song.
