I think last time, even before the final 12, we had singers of the calibre of Abhijeet Ghoshal, and Keka, and Vishwas.... I dont understand, why are we all defending a bunch of extremely mediocre/bad singers!!

I am not defending mediocre singers. But how are you judging the contestants based on just one song. That is just not fair. Last time too we had singers like Banjo, Jayeeta, and many more. Do you think that dukhi atma Nanu was any better than any of these singers. But he too made it to the top 32.

If you are judging the contestants based on the RD round then you are totally wrong. RD ke gaana gaane mein acche accho ka band baaj jata hai. LAst time there was a RD round amongst the final 12 and all of them fail miserably.

More over we always complain whenever a new session starts. Last year we had problems with the C2005 contestants and were missing the likes of Parthiv, Shreya, and others. But by the end of the season we put the same contestants of C2005 to a different plane.

So, lets just wait and watch. Its too early to form judgements.

good point too.

personally i am not really expecting much in terms of singing quality but am open to being surprised later on. also i do expect the ensuing tamasha to get more entertaining as the show progresses. in that respect, mujhe poora bharosa hai zee par. ummeed hai naheen todenge😉😆

For sure its not easy to sing RD's songs... Choosing that as the round 1 theme just because they could bring in Asha and capitalize on the Asha-HR war was the biggest mistake the channel made.... For sure, its not easy to sing RD songs and they all did bad... but what about all the songs that they sung in the introductory round and then on day 2 of week 1! None of them were tough songs and they were plain bad in each of them!

The worst part is when the channel has chosen such singers, their focus should be on helping them to improve, giving them a more congenial atmosphere to grow.. the focus, unfortunately, seems something entirely different! The focus is shabby clothes, more and more controversies, overdose of drama and very patchy script! C05 started on a much better note - or should we say that Zee has just gone over the board because of its insecurity on having lost Gajji!!

Only 3? 😊 OK

1. No zones. We have talent in whole India so give chance to Indians first and don't divide people based on zones.

2. No potshots between judges. No drama. We are here to hear good music.

3. Reduce the decibel of sound. Everyone shouts from roof top. They forget that they have mike and people can hear them even if they speak softly but anchor to judges everyone shouts.

Hmm..!

1. Don't allow Himesh to be a mentor or make his talking limited.. am sure he is a nice mentor and all but atleast during the show please no drama!
2. Need better quality singers (veryyy important)
3. Not quite sure what to put here... just rpt number 1 and 2 😊
