The bold phrase above is the key - so far. So far you haven't heard them enough to come to a proper conclusion. You're talking only about Amanat and Wasi, but you can't judge the others simply based on one performance. According to reports, Musarrat has wowed Alka and the mentors with his performance in the coming week. Reserve your judgment until then.

Think of it this way. If you had to judge Amanat solely on the basis of his performance in the RD Burman round, you wouldn't be regarding him so highly. You like him because you saw how he performed Mitwa. Similarly, it takes just one performance for a singer to make a place in someone's heart. For any and all of these singers, that one performance may be just around the corner. Wait for it - a little bit of patience is required.

Otherwise there is no difference between you and Himesh - you're both dismissing the contestants even before giving them a chance to sing. 😉

Next week - I would have my eyes set on Star Plus, and if that offers a higher musical quotient and better experience, will not interfere in your, HR's and anyone else's delayed judgement 😛

Yes - Amanat did not sing Mere Naina that well.. but there was never denying this that he had full control on his sur.. Feel is what he missed, and yet he was much better than the rest... I think, when you hear someone once, atleast we can make out to an extent what the capabilities are.. uske liye panch kharab gaane sunne ki zaroorat nahi hoti...

1. Less of drama among the mentors and judges all
2. Concentrate on quality singing instead of drama
3. Tone down the criticism. it is being done so critically that i feel at times the contestants are getting nervous.

I totaly agree with you, the contestants do get critisied too much, they are new and have come here to learn the judges just seem to expect the contestants to be perfect almost liek them selves - thats hardly possible in 2 days!
