Sarita - I will not be active on the weekend here, so just wanted to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of these pages.. It was a pleasure knowing more about you through your answers... After this week I know that there exists a very sweet and unique person behind that sweet and unique voice... 😊

I wish you all the best... May you get all that you dream of and grow everyday to be better person... I am sure that you would already be one... but since you think of your mom and sis to personify the 'ideal woman' - I hope that you reach there soon...😃

Take care and keep rocking!! 👍🏼

comment on these..
1.do you beleive that...
"Everyone has two sides to their personality (at least)"

2.."Hope is the word to hold on to today -- hope for what you can't anticipate and can't control"

3. Do you beleive in "that you can be good without being perfect"? as noone is??????...
and it could be a sign that you're putting up walls between yourself and other people.

4."Those who live by the sword, die by the sword."

5. ... It's natural to put up your defenses and try to argue in favor of your perspective,But you should also be open to the idea that you could (gasp!) be wrong, or at least working under a wrong assumption. It's better to correct yourself than to spend the rest of your life standing for the wrong thing.

Well, it wasn't so much working with people. Most of my colleagues (except one) haven't said or done anything that has hugely touched my heart. May be I am one big tough nut to touch, let alone crack 😕

But, what did make a difference to me was my experience with the villagers of a particular village in the south, where I recently went for studies. I spent a lot of time with them as part of my ethnographic research. These people's warmth, their genuine affection, generosity and most importantly their refreshing smiles and mirth in the face of adversity, impressed me. It made me forget my own little petty troubles back in the city. 😊 Perhaps this is another reason why I love my job. It gives me an opportunity to meet such people away from the city and office cubicles!

Sarita can you please share some of the experiences while working with people which may have touched your heart... may have brought smile on your face...may have brought tears in your eyes.

Of course... the front and the rear elevation 😛 Unless you also consider the side!

2.."Hope is the word to hold on to today -- hope for what you can't anticipate and can't control"

Yeah...it's more like reconciling to one's lot in the hope of something better that the morrow can bring. Remember Sahir's words in the movie 'Phir Subah Hogi.... "Jis subah ki khaatir yug yug se, hum sab mar mar kar jeete hain. Jis subah ki amrit ki dhun mein, hum zahar ke pyaale peete hain."

3. Do you beleive in "that you can be good without being perfect"? as noone is??????...

Well you can be 'good' by the same yardstick, which also measures how 'perfect' you are. And in any case, 'good' and 'perfect' are equally subjective qualities.

4."Those who live by the sword, die by the sword."

Yeah, who else would the sword have for company 😛😛

Once again I would say 'right' and 'wrong' are usually subjective and vary from person to person. So what I see as right, you could see as wrong and vice versa. Unless there are some universally accepted wrongs like the holocaust, or massacres, killings, rape and so on. However, I do agree about being open. New ideas, regeneration, development and growth only happens if one's pores are open to such influences. The opposite is what I call the CPS or "closed pore syndrome", which results in leading a life like a deaf and blind tadpole and dying in the well like a frog

Sorry for taking so long 😕 Was actually thinking of something sensible to say and then chucked it, coz sense and sensibility don't come at one's behest. They are either there or just not!

1. Did I get to be so intelligent? Oooooh! Thank you! Never knew I was what you would call intelligent 😉 Now let me think.... Ok that might be because I have an 'INTEL' inside 😛 Still doesn't explain why I would be a 'GENT' 😆...👏👏...Very tongue-in-cheek answer

2. I discovered my intelligence the day I beheld that king of primates say on international television, "Ladies and gentlemen, we have Sad-dam'.😆😆😆

3. Booed out? Sure! Each time that I have sung, different beings have acted in different ways. Reptiles revolt and canines cry. I know from experience - especially after 2:33 am

4. Mere ko 'Hamlet' pehenke reekss bilkul nahin lene ka. Is liye agar public ke saamne mera kabaada karna hi hai, to kal aanaa. Kal, mast nahaa dhoke aanaa, eh? Pura hisaab-kitaab theek kar lenge😛

All the best Saritaji....Dreams are meant for pursuing....Hope you realize your dream one day.😛
