Gosh! Priya! Such a lapse on my part! I ought to have mentioned this to you before as many others, who have graciously given their feedback on contestants. Your comments are sar aankhon par and definitely well-taken! Like I mentioned to her 'Guruship' before, your commitment and sincerity are something that I can only hope to follow - hum to sirf badon ke naksh-o-kadam par chalne ki koshish kar sakte hain 😊

Now now now take back your words of feeling left out! 😊And please don't go by what my guru-rani is saying here 😛

Now, SRGMP is the only section I frequently visit. Are you a trained singer - Yes (though out of touch for past 20+ years) Who is your Singing Inspiration- Asha Bhosale Favorite Singer (Male and Female) Many. Favorite Music Director- Many. But from recent times AR Rehman & Shankar Ehsaan Loy. A song that describes you the best- That Song is yet to be composed ....😆 What are your views about your Mentor - Tanaz is very encouraging and patiently responds to all of my questions. She is the BEST. What are your views about other Mentors - It was so nice of S.Priya to listen to all songs and give valuable feedback/comments on the contestants of "other" Gharanas !! Punjini is doing a great job of supporting her contestants. Whos the other mentor Appa, Bhaskar, Amit or ??? If you were given a chance to choose your Gharana which one would it be- I wouldn't choose. Who is your favorite Contestant (except yourself) - tina59 & Sarita have a great melodious voice. Among guys - Ashish. Your Goal in Life- To be successful in whatever I choose to do. To continue to strike the right balance between work and family. Given a chance will you participate in Zee SRGM C-2007 - Yes. But I think I would be eligible only if they decide to do a SRGMP - Mommy special or something...😆😆 If you get selected for C-2007 Will you drop IF SRGM - No way. Its only here that I get to re-record several times.
• Give a brief Introduction of yourself - I was born and raised in Mumbai. After my graduation I worked in Mumbai and London UK for a few years and have been in the US for last 10 yrs. I started my Hindustani Classical music training at the age of 8yrs and continued for about 5-6 yrs. Then education took priority followed by career, job etc....but passion for music has always been there. I am married and have two adorable daughters 6yrs & 2yrs. Both of them are happily humming/singing all the songs I record ! 😆

Sarita, you are too sweet. But I think I'll have to stick with what I said cuz I still think its true. Its not that I don't believe I have the talent....I just don't have the training. If I had been trained from a young age, who know's...I may have been doing playback right now. Is that enough self-praise or should I still edit the post?

But you, on the other hand, have a beautiful voice, loads of talent and seem to be well-trained. If SRGMP comes to your city RIGHT NOW looking for new talent, you should definitely go for it! Btw, where is your scrapbook entry? I'm waiting to read it. 😊
