BTW, the debojit and his wife thing happened on the second day after debojit got the blue card. He mentioned how his wife has been working so that he can concentrate on his singing.
Even abhijeet mentioned that people should do something for the people who suffer from blood cancer (his mother is suffering from blood cancer and is very ill)

I am glad that atleast someone has sense to use the platform and adulation they receive on the program for social cause. As for Abhijeet, he shouldn't have tried to imitate Sudesh Bhosle. His own voice is his gift and that made all the difference. He already is involved with Louis Bank in multple projects in Bollywood and albums. May god help him find his destiny.

As far as I can comprehend, Debojit and Hemachandra may slug it out in the finals, and Swananda and Nihira in girls.

I am in the US and I saw the episode where Himani and Debojit got the blue cards yesterday. I also saw Lalit's rude behavior when he said to the judges that their judgement was wrong in case of both Himani and Debojit. What was he thinking ? did lalit think that by saying that the judges would change their decision? what was the purpose of the outburst ? he just made a fool of himself. If he was trying to give his opinion, he did get a chance to do that before the results were announced. Does he realize how childish it looks to crib about decisions after they have been made by the judges ? And if he thinks he is so smart in judging and that only his contestents are the best , y call external judges at all ? To humiliate them by saying that their decisions were wrong? IF you have called someone to judge have the decency to abide by that decision. Its comman courtesy. Lalit should be ashamed of himself.

It is going be hard on AS as the 3 girls have got blue card and they all
have to be on the stage the same day and only one of them will get to the
next round, It is the same for ID he has 2 of boys in the same round.

I do not know what people like in a singer but I have a different taste and honestly speaking I do not like the singing by Sanchali, Twinkle, Irfan, Keka, Neeladri, Vineet, Raktima and few others. There could be many reasons that people like them but I do not find any of them as a singer to whom I would like to listen as I feel that they all lack something or other.

Sanchali and Raktima are very nasal. Do not know how Sanchali reached to this stage, she would have been eliminated long time back if she had faced "real" competition. If you will notice many of these singers have progressed because they did not have to face the real competition or there were some judgemental errors.

Neeladri and Keka lack originality. Irfan is completely flat in singing. Vineet is very much like one of those "T-Series" kind of singers who used to sing old Rafi songs with Jhankar beats and so on. Remember Vivek Sachdeva and all? Though Sonu also used to sing in his early career with T-Series but even today when I hear his Rafi ki Yaaden, I find a sophestication in that. Vineet lacks that part but he could be a good imitator. Same goes for Neeladri and Keka.

Twinkle is a different case though. She at times sing good but I can't imagine her singing a song where she needs to sing with openenss. Many people liked her Diaya Main kahan Aa Fansi, but for me it was a very ordinary performance. At high pitch she was choking. Let me ask you what is the difference between Kumar Sanu and Abhijit (the singer Abhijit and not SGMP contestant)? Abhijit sings with authority and makes one feel that he is commanding the song unlike Sanu who starts choking moment he goes at high pitches. Same goes for Twinkle. She sounds good only in few ranges of songs. I am 100% sure that moment she will have to sing the songs of judges choice or songs of a different kind, she will fall flat. And on top of that she has a big attitude problem. She acts as if she is already a star or of that kind, lots of arrogance in her face. But somehow there is a hype for her as well as for Vineet!

Let us see who is the winner but I do not believe that we will have a Sonu or Shreya coming out from this lot. No one has that element which could turn them into a singer for generations to come. Of course there are better singers elsewhere as well who are not in SGMP.

I m strongly agree with u.How dare Lalit can show his frustration among so many watchers that too with celebrity like Khayyamji,shame on him.

I loved when Himesh raised quetion abt their previous reactions when Himesh and others were loosing there participants in dual round.And they didnteven say a singal word, and always discouraged them.

I feel both brothers r deplomatic they dont say anything when others r loosing there good participants,what a great hypocrats.

I felt it was the biggest insult of judgeds what he did and on last episode AS and Jatin did.They shd apologies in front of all viewers.Other wise no celebrity will come in this show as Judge,since they r insulting them.

I do agree with u.these participants r in my list too whom i dont like ,but for neeladari i m little in favour since his voice is very strong and at a time manly when he sings.

Abt Sanchali,i dont know for which actress her voice will suit,anyways she is out now,Instead of sanchali i wd loved if small Sanchari was there.Twinkle has very husky voice ,breathing sound always comes in her voice.

I wish if Rahul and Hrishikesh from old SRGMP winners wd have been there,then this challange wd have been real challange for the all males.Infact Saptak's voice is far better but unfotunatly he is out.

The Little Sanchri was really very good, I do not understand why did JL tell
her she was very good. But they will give her a thumbs down because she

I agree with your list. Even i don't find these singers interesting and i don't think i will spend money to listen to these.....in fact that can be said about most singers on this challenge.

The only singers that i have found to some extent exciting for various reasons- Ujjaini, Swananda, rajiv (i know he is not a great singer but i think he has got a unique voice), Himani, Nihira (i think she has to improve a lot but she has got her basics right so it might be easy for her), Hema (for the same reason as nihira and he has got a powerful voice). Did i miss anybody..i don't think so.

Little Sanchari certainly had the potential (i think she could be future shreya ghoshal) but her wings clipped before she could fly!

But, i think the tremendous talent that we have seen over years......singers like rahul saxena, ronkini, md vakil is certainly lacking here........(after so much training by the music directors themselves), i wish they could be brought back but then it would be completely lopsided.

Yes you missed....Debojit Saha. The most underrated competitor in this competition!!!
