The SMS round is the worst thing in SRGMP. A totally non deserving singer will be able to make it to the final, as if this is a popularity contest. Just for an argument sake, consider Debojit has one off day and he is out of the contest and someone from SMS will have a free ride to the finals. It doesn't make sense to me to see a 'popular' contestant among the finalist rather than the 'deserving' participant.

why do they cencor the fighting scenes between the judges ... Adesh needs to get a life and has to stop being so cocky ... Himesh, dman he only has one guy left what can i say ... Jutinlalit, well i dunno the judges are always against them ... Ishmel Darbar, now he is the man ... I mean the dude rocks totoaly!

I agree with you. I think they should have made to compete in Chakravyuha round. It doesn't make sense to let them enter into 'Agnipariksha'. I think the round set-up is wrong.

I agree with pmahesh about Sharib. He is only 17 and his voice is undergoing a change and all he did was ask the great classical singer what he should do while going thru this voice change stage.He was in a competition and was worried about his voice breaking down on stage.
As far as his classical singing goes listen to how he sang 'Lagi Dil se Maan Ki Lagan" I think he was better than the original singer that day.

I also think Sanchari is an exceptional singer who also maybe or will be going thru a voice change and that may be why the mentors wanted to give her more time. I have heard her sing on SARGM children special,'SILSILA YEH CHAAHAT KA' from 'Devdas" and she was fantastic. I really hope that we will see her in Challenge 2006 or 2007.

As far as Nihira & Swananda are concerned. I feel Nihira is an all-rounder and she can sing any type of song.Do you remember when she sang the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam title song in an episode before the SRGMP Challenge 2005 and the 'Allah tero naam'fom Hum Dono, in the same episode in which ID was the judge? She completely bowled me over with her singing that day. I think she also captured Ismael darbar's attention, who said that he has always found new singers from SRGM like Shreya and Mohamad Salamat and that day also had found a great new singer.And what about the song from Saathiya which she sang in the preliminary round and which had all the mentors going Ga Ga over her ? In other episodes I have even heard her sing a Sunhidi Chauvan song in a duet with Shaan and various Asha Bhonsle songs when O.P Nayar was the judge and all the contestants had to sing songs composed by him. Have you heard her song from the Kunal Ganjawala album 'CHANNA VEY'? The song is called 'Hai Pagal Kyun Dil Mera'. If you guys get a chance listen to that song.
As you guys must have guessed, I am already her fan and will buy her album if it comes out, in a heartbeat.

Swananda is also very good though she is more like Asha Bhonsle, suitable for her type of songs.She may not be able to sing songs in which she has to sing a sargam and classical notes.. I maybe wrong because I have never heard her sing before the SRGMP Challenge , in which she has mostly sung Asha's songs, but that is what I feel right now.

Well Sanchari is a good singer who needs to work a lot on the emotion of a song, she lacks the feel when she sings romnatic songs. She and Banjyotsna sang Bahon mein chale aao, Sanchari had no emotion whatsoever, there is some playfulness in that song which is so imoprtant if not it doesn;t sound good at all. She didn't capture that emotion at all.

I have heard Sanchari sing in the children's round, I was not very impressed, I won't say she is bad either. She needs to hit all the notes perfectly not bypass them and feel the song when sings, she will not make it big if she doesn't overcome these weaknesses.

She is not yet versatile, she can only sing melodious congs, this can be oversome with practice over a period of time.

sanchari is a kid yaar...give her a break......
like u said ...may be she has to practice over a period of time to make it good...
but being a kid she sings great....she may be going thru a voice transition ...her voice is good....
if the judges felt she was not good...first of all they shouldnt have allowed her in to the contest....
but all the best sanchari...

Stage in one of the kids round, some time back. I was highly impressed.
Yes I agree she has no exprestion on her face, But I love the way she
sings. I have heard her sing the real old songs and the new ones.
The only time I did not like her sing was the day HR did not select her.
She really messed up that day. DO not know why.
But In short she is really very good.
The day she records it will be a great song, I am sure if any song is going
to be on a young girl sining, she will be singing it.

that is 10.
Then the SMS.

Sanchari sang the title track from Titanic and she rendered it beautifully...
