While I will disagree with everything else.....😆

I agree east and south has the base of classical singing and people worship it.... but this are not the only regions rich in music.... u go to north and they have Panjabi and haryana and Himachali sangeet which is also a kind of music and it is very rich music there.... infact the popularity of panjabi folks is much more than any sangeet.....

Maharashtrians are not much into singing because of many reasons but the once who persue singing by heart will go places.... just like latadi, ashadi, Nihira, Rahul etc.... Gujarathis and Rajasthanis have rich tradition of folk music.....

So every part of India has its own culture of music and they worship that part of music..... so we cant say that this part is better for music as the genres of music differ everywhere😃

The whole discussion stemmed from the voting patterns of the Eastern region and has now progressed into a dissection on which part of the country is more musically inclined. Please let us try to stay within the topic and not cause rifts when none exist.

Every part of India has its own culture of music and each one is diverse. No one part is better or bigger than the other and it is the confluence of all these which make INDIAN music beautiful.
