Music and Voice is a personal choice it is up to each individuals hearing. So for me he has a very beautiful musical voice. If you dont feel it dats ok... but dont you think it is unfair to assume the rest of the people dont feel it either?? come on 10 lakh people cant be wrong 😉

sure can be wrong.😉 like all those lakhs who vote for corrupt politicians time and again. and boss, it probably aint 10 lakh people in any case. for all we know, it could be a thousand characters each voting a thousand times. after all, it's a free country and even the uninitiated have a right to spend their sms money in wild ways. which is why i say one shld consider all possibilities. trust me 😉

Well what choice do the people have there because I don't think that the people have a choice between a corrupt one and a clean one??The only choice is the less corrupt one and how u determine the less corrupt one is up to u.
This is not the same case,here people have the choice of two good singers,sanchita and Sameer and they will choose who according to them is the better of the two,so u can't really compare politics with reality shows.

sure can. both are subject to the same vagaries of human emotions. even if u have 2 clean politicians, people will usually vote for the guy/ gal they identify with and who can gratify their narrow self-interests, not necessarily for someone who is more competent.😊

Exactly and when someone votes for a kid ina reality show ,what do they expect from the kid in return ,nothing.What is little sameer going to do for the people who have voted for him in the show if he wins,nothing.He can't offer them any big posts or help their interest in any way.
The only thing that these people voting for sameer get is may be,probably,who knows ,an album of his or a song sung by him in a movie in another five years.
The speed with which we are getting talented singers from the reality shows every year even this happening is a remote possibility but may be this the only hope of sameer voters.
So how can u say that voting for sameer is like voting for a corrupt leader,I don't see any benefits for the sameer voters,really I can't for that matter I don't see any benefits for sanchita's or Diwakers voters either.
I am assuming that they are voting for the kid because they genuinely like his voice and his singing.His cuteness and his smile are some added perks .

yaar, if u really dont see any benefits, then why are u voting? paisa kharch karne ke liye? problem is u are looking for only material benefits such as albums etc. But sometimes the gratification comes in non-material ways. such as feeling good that someone one likes/ identifies with/ finds cute has won. people vote for their choices for a lot of reasons and some of these have to do with emotional satisfaction.
also, the point was about 10 lakh people being wrong. the example of electing a corrupt leader still shows how people can go wrong en masse. and if u dont like the example of a corrupt leader, take a non-corrupt incompetent leader. u'll find a lot of folks voting for that person for reasons unrelated to competence, such as caste etc. Not very different from how folks might vote in other contests such as lil champs.

Some factors like sympathy and plain "association" are still driving factors in India specially in reality shows. let me give you a live example...
One of the hardcore sameer fan recently told in MOTW thread when asked why he is supporting sameer.... "Well because of my MOM. I didnt bother watchin lil champs. Then my mom is like you have to see this kid from mumbai sing he reminds me just like you when you were little. "
Go figure!

and of course, these aspects are applicable for all three. true again that it is my opinion only as to who is the best. others are welcome to whatever erroneous opinions they might want to hold on to. no sweat off my back😊
as for musical judges, i dont need no alka to tell me that sameer shld not get an A+ for a performance that sucked IMO when she is giving an A to someone else for a performance that rocked. i trust my own ears more than alka's tricky fingers on the dial. 😉

U don't know me,i may have been out of India for a long time but my roots are still there,so don't even go there.
Well what would u say if I said that a few people are voting for sanchita because she is the only girl left there,because no girl has won a reality show so far.
people have their own reasons and what u can be sure of is ur own reason not for anyone else's.
What ever the reasons are they stand for all the three contestants,don't single out sameer.
