Both of them should have been eliminated earlier... Infact after Diwakar got eliminated, he should not have been brought back.. If anyone, it had to be Aishwarya or Neha...The top 4 line-up should have been Sanchita, Abhro, Pawni and Neha/Aishwarya... That would have been a complete win-win contest for music...

Very well said. Exactly my thoughts.

Diwakar is singing what he feels, he is trying to express himself, he is trying to say what he feels, and yet we find all this a sale. Amazing!. I am not sure if i feel amazed or depressed on the fact that our younger audience is so rude and so arrogant. If you do not like his singing, please express that, but you should not judge or belittle anyone. That is very very hurtful.

Again how would one understand Diwakar and his parents feeling unless one did not face this situation themselves. It is a shame, I am again requesting all of you on this forum to be humble: "the world is round, what goes around has to come around". If you go around with hatred that is what you are going to receive and if you go around with love then that is what you are going to receive.

If you feel that Diwakar should not be in this competition simply state that, there are some of us who do not like Sameer at all, I do not like his voice, it does not appeal to me, but no I do not go around accursing him, his parents for making him look a certain way or talk a certain way to win the audience. So please keep your posts specific. I am not saying this because I feel sorry for Diwakar, but because I feel you should not face any issues by belitting someone else. Hope you all understand

I agree with you , very well said!! 👏👏

I AGREE. DIWAKAR DESERVES SYMPATHY BUT NOT OVER AND ABOVE THE MERRIT. HE SINGS IN MONOTONE AND HAS TREMENDOUS LIMITATIONS AS FAR AS WHAT TYPE OF SONG HE CAN SING. DON'T MARR THE MERRIT WHICH OFTEN HAPPENS WHEN DECISIONS ARE TAKEN ON EMOTIONAL LEVELS.

"""""I have watched Diwakar from the start. I have seen his family, I have heard Diwakar speak about life, I have seen the things he has achieved outside of this competition(a movie on him, his photos with politicians etc.)and I have heard him sing. I feel that his parents have made him or rather his disability a commodity. He knows what to say, when to say that can have an impact on the audience. They have made suckers of all the other contestants. Gajji has also used Diwakar to make the show popular. He had decided to bring a contestant back the moment Diwakar was eliminated. I have watched Bappida give false praise or never say a very harsh word to Diwakar. """"""

I am glad that people have taken an objection to my above comment because this way it gets people thinking. I feel that in life everybody comes with some kind of disability. Some with physical and some with mental. The poor kids who beg and live on the roads who have never be given a chance at life just by being born into poverty are severly disabled. They are never even given the tools to get out of it.

When a better singer than Diwakar is eliminated then there is a reverse discrimination. When Grupreet's mom insisted that her child is only 10 years old and should be given that consideration when compared to 12 and 14 year olds, shouldn't that have happened??? In Gurupreet's case being younger was her disability. So in Her mom's mind the judges should have considered Gurupreet's age before they eliminated her.

I personally dont think that people with vision can feel life more than the blind just because they are able to see.

I apologize to all who are offended by my comment in the quotes.

I fully agree with this post. Abhro is not my personal favorite as in spite of his training, he is not ON THE DOT! but yeah that's okay.
I really like this post. thanks.

abhee jeet's grades change with the performance, that shows that he is judging the singing where as bappi is giving grades based on sympathy that is because he is a bad judge. all kids are equal and should only be judged based on their performances. divaker is an average singer. be honest to yourself and tell that if he is better than neha pawni or abhro. if not, what is he doing here.don't punish other kids for not being blind

I know a lot of people who enjoy Diwakar's singing more than any of the children you mentioned.
Personally, I always preferred, Sanchita , Pawni and Sameer.

But, I will not change my stance on the fact that this young boy does sing from the heart and deserves the love that is being showered on him by people. I don't think people are just voting for him because of sympathy. I know people who are touched by his voice and performances.

Remember he does not have the benefit of facial expression which attracts you to a singer. Everything you hear from him is through is heart. I dont know....I think we should be careful not to insult this young man.

If you dont want him to win. Vote for your favourite! Do your best and aske your friends to vote too. Go out and campaign. Or if you are happy for all those children who are competing and think they are all talented and equally deserve a chance.....and dont want to deepen the pockets of zee. Don't vote and be happy with the final outcome.

My favourite is Sanchita and I will do my one vote here and there. I will also encourage others to vote for a girl singer. But, I love all of them and at the end of the day I will be happy for any kid who comes on top.

If Diwakar wins by chance, I will not feel bad because at the end of the day he is decently talented too and this may be God's will.

Ok I dont want to move away from the topic here, but I needed to post this so you see my point of view. Have you ever worked with the poor people in India, lepers, visited an old age home, visited an orphanage. I did this when I was in India, I along with my team would arrange campaigns to abolish leprosy in India and what happened. We had huge corporations and international organizations like united nation supporting our campaign, doctors, nurses who would go out of their working schedules to bring people to the clinic, support workers educating people to get themselves checked and treated as soon as possible.

We would have to drag people to the clinic everyday and everyday we would have them run away, we asked them why. Along with medication they were getting a place to stay and also food. They told us to Get lost and leave them alone, some of them would openly curse and abuse us for helping them, they called this disease their living bread, they earned money because they had this disease and they enjoyed living on the streets. Then we thought fine, maybe we can help them get better jobs, women could help out in the cottage industry, we promised them work after a few months of training which include board and food, but that too didnt work, because they made more money on the streets. I have even worked with the old age homes, and most of our old where thrown there because of the fact that they shivered when they ate and dirtied their tables. And here is a kid with disability who make a big name for himself and we want to show him how disgusting our world is.

Diwakar is a disabled child with parents who did not think of abandoning him in an orphanage when they realized he was disabled. They brought him up with dignity and with respect for himself and that is what makes him unique. Diwakar brings a promise to other children who are equally disabled that you can make big in this world all you have to do is dream big and work hard to make it a reality. Gajji may have made this whole drama of bringing Diwakar back because he wants to fill his pockets, but knowingly or unknowingly he has made a wish for a child who is disabled that you can dream big and make it big all you have to do is pray hard, believe in yourself and work even harder. Hats off to him for giving a disabled child a second chance.

Maybe there will be an opportunity for a poor child and then children on the street will realize let me check into this helpful organizations instead of running away and work hard and make it big like everyone else. At this moment I havent been involved very much with any organization in India, I am busy setting up a non-profit organization, which will provide aid to these children on the streets, and more importantly education. Hope I can acheive this goal.

He gave the disabled child a second chance at the cost of what???another childs future??

Do u think that the life of the kids who are not disabled easy???

Yes Diwakar is blind and we all feel for him but is that the fault of the other kids.

There are several other ways to uplift a disabled child but is it fair to do that at the cost of another child that is the main question??

I hope u r getting my point Janet ji.Diwakar has already achieved so much in life that these kids can only dream of??

Do you ever think about the other kids ,how they must be feeling when this extra attention is showered on Diwakar ,after all they are all small kids.

Do u think its fair that abhro is out before Diwakar??

HELP DIWAKAR BUT NOT AT THE COST OF ANOTHER CHILD'S FUTURE.
