Brilliant Sanchita but dissapointing Alka - Page 3

These comments sounded all the more foolish after Jagjit Singh , the composer himself complimented Sanchita by saying that she had taken some "Jagahe" better than even the original. Mind you, here is somebody giving comments knowing that the other rendition is by the great Latadidi.

Now, does'nt that raise serious doubts about Alka's intentions as far as Sanchita is concerned?

thanks for the song. Heard it just now and found Sanchita to be good.
She has given good expressions and over all a good performance. These kind of performances has been getting A+ from the judges .

I will not term Alka Yagnik as jealous (please an established singer with 25+ yrs of experience cannot be jealous of a 14 yr old ).
Alka Yagnik is inconsistent in giving grades from one contestant to the other....but her crticisms are not wrong ...she always points out whatever is wrong in renedition. When she criticises diwakar for expression..she is correct but how she says and what she says goes against her.

Sanchita could have done better, she has tremendous potential and her best would be mind blowing.. i think Alka Yagnik is still waiting for it and so am I. Sanchita looks nervous and Alka Yagnik has often spoken about "shruti" in her sur....she needs to concentrate. She is the best among the L'il champ but has to be more confident and give her best on stage.

Alka Yagnik is not a bad judge but a poor teacher...she should try and instill some confidence in Sanchita...hopefully public vote may give sanchita that (she did well this week).....

Excellent performance by Sanchita. 👏 The introduction 'Allah' was spellbinding! I agree, she did make you cry with her expression. Im not comparing here, but Sanchita's performance reminded me of Nihira's Saathi Re Bhool Na Jaana Mera Pyar. The 'dard' was so prominent in both performances, both in voice and expression.

I think editing made Alka Yagnik's comment on the 'high notes and Sanchita's bold voice' appear blunt and somewhat rude. Alka is trying her best to be unbiased. Like indus said, she criticizes all the contestants, whether its Sameer, Pawni, Diwakar or Abhro. I do think Sanchita deserved 3A+ for the performance though. Of course she can do better and she will, whether its next week or one year from now. There is always scope for improvement and she's only 14 years old. But Sanchita's foundation is correct: talent, dedication and concentration. She may not win the competition but she proved her talent and capability with Dard se mera daman.

Today's performance by Sanchita "Dard se mera Daman Bhar de" was her one of brilliant performances.She is too good 👏 I wonder when the Ghazal king and the composer of this ghazal himself said that she sang better then original and infact she did,why Alka didn't give her A+

I feel Sanchita is way better than Pawni but Pawni gets more marks from the judges. Sorry but Neha was also way better than Pawni. My opinion only.
