If you want, we can certainly explain on PMs, but on forum, it is not possible at all.

another thing if you want to find out if someone is banned or not - Check their profile. If the username is shown NOT ACTIVE, it means member is banned.

Yes PMs is perfectly fine. You don't need to announce it or offer to show the PM, but if someone asks for it, please show them.

Aadha sach jhoot se bhi khatarnaak hota hai. If I am banned and one of my forum friends PMs you and asks why, I would prefer that you lay it out in front of them. Then they can judge for themselves if the Dev Team was right or I was wrong.

Otherwise who knows what wierd things they may be assuming about me - possibly thinking of a worse thing that I must have done to get banned. Likewise, they may be thinking the Dev Team is evil for banning me. All you need to do is lay the truth in front of them - then they won't have any aspersions about your intentions or my actions.

Shady, believe me, we always do it. If someone asks us, we tell them the reason. We never share out the warning pms sent out or any other stuff, for mostly the offences are always on the forum (except in few cases) and members are mostly aware of the circumstances leading to the ban.

Abhi in another thread suspected us to leak out the contents of his pm to another member. We are aware that many here may even think that or eblieve that. For that sake, we do not share the pms, but the reason, if asked, is always truthfully told.
