That is all I will say. You got caught doing something. Your name was only brought up in one post by me. That was on the post to mods why all other people's Qs were not quoted or addressed and only mine. Singling me out.

Okay this brings up another issue, that I want to comment on.

I would like the Dev Team to be a little more transparent when they ban someone. I don't mean post an announcement with all their PMs and posts, but atleast let us know that this person has been banned or his IP blocked.

I had no idea that Sridhar was banned - no idea at all. There was no indication under his name that he was banned. There was no 'THIS MEMBER HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY BANNED' mark on his posts. Nothing of the sort.

I know the Dev Team didn't want to make an issue of it, but to me, back then, it would have seemed like you were trying to brush the dirt under the carpet. By thinking - just ban him and hope no-one would notice. Please don't do that. That's an approach patented by the White House.

If I had known back then that Sridhar was banned, I wouldn't have been happy. Because I supported him in his right to open comparisons of singers and polls. If I had known then that he was banned, then I would have thought it was due to these topics, and I would have thought that is unfair of the Mods, and would have thought negatively about the Dev Team.

The only reason I didn't think negatively about the Dev Team is because I now know WHY he was banned. It's crystal clear to me after Appaji showed us the PM, and so I now support the Dev Team. Don't you think it would be nice to have that transparency every time - so that you can get more support from the members instead of allegations?

Even if you do not want to post the PMs in public forum because it may raise tempers or because kids also visit here, I would at least expect to be shown the PM privately if I ask for it. If I PM the Dev Team and ask them why so-and-so was banned, I would be like to shown the PM that led to their banning.

Such transparency will only help the Dev Team rise in everyone's eyes. Because when something is hidden, people automatically assume that it's something bad.

Shady, just think of a situation if, God Forbid, you get banned. Would you want us to discuss it with members.

If you want, we can certainly explain on PMs, but on forum, it is not possible at all.

another thing if you want to find out if someone is banned or not - Check their profile. If the username is shown NOT ACTIVE, it means member is banned.

not neccessarily ..couple of monhs ago i asked mods to make my id inactive and i was not banned 😭..i just wanted to get rid of my addiction
