Its good that they adopted our Yoga.What if they started promoted our begging and child-labour???There is no harm in adopting something good. The west has a lot things which we can adopt.The westernisation of music had started long back and i have mentioned about that in my post.Wearing a unwashed jeans and a baseball cap and some lifted drum-beats is not westernisation.Let Himesh learn something from Pancham da or even ARR.Even Rabindranath Tagore adopted western tunes in some of his songs.But our objection is against blind aping and not accepting the finer aspects of the west.

Abandoning is relative thing, Even a son follows the their great culture but parent will always say their son had bandoned their culture. It is just a generation gap. It is universial concept not only for India. And nobody can define which culture is superior or inferior. A person always feel his or her culture is superior. Mr. Himesh is not forcing anybody to change the culture, It is personal choice to listen his songs. It is duty of parents to prevent their kids from listening Himesh's songs. My client has respect for all kind of culture/gender/religion/race.
I think the defense councel has consciously avoided the last word and that is AGE.As per his statement..'My music is targetted at the 23 year olds'.. clearly discriminates the section of the society he targets...So this falls against the assumption that the accused has respect towards people of all ages.

Judge Saheb, India is no more a developing country, it is already a developed country. India is moving faster than lot of developed country. Our economic growth is more than 8%. Can you imagine how did you come so far? You can not grow by confining you in a container. We need to compete with developed country like USA not to compete with Bengladesh. We need to improve our economy to 10% not go back to 2% growth. If my client can give 27 hits in 6 months then what is the problem. All revenue coming from these 27 hits are not going to my client. So many people at different leves share that revenue. And ultimately it is going to share in country progress.
Music koi deewaron pe sajane ki cheez nahin rahi, music koi almiraah mein rakhne ki cheez nahin rahi. Music aaj hawaaon mein hai, music aaj chaurahe, chaubare, gali aor sarkon pe hai. Jis tarah se hamara desh grow kar raha hai waise hi music grow kar raha. Our country is moving away from socialism to capitalism. In capiltalism, individuality is very important. If each individual take care of themselves then it definitely reduce the burden of country. Himesh is not forcing his music, but he is giving the option and it is individual choice irrespective of anything. Himesh is just part of current economic growth of India. He is contributing to the growth of India in whatever way he can.
a) 'Aajkal Rafi ko kaun sunta hai' –
Judge Saheb:
Mere client ka yeh bahut hi true observatin thaa. At one point he is saying the truth that he loves Md. Rafi, he respect Md. Rafi and Md. Rafi is his inspiration. His other statement is also truth. Aajkal "Rafi saheb ko kaon sunta hai?" Mera client majority of people ki baat kar rahe then, minority of people ki nahin. Latest example: Everybody know how big was Mughal-e-azam movie, usko color karakar laya gaya mujhe bataye yahan baithe kitne logon ne jaakar dekha? If anybody got demorlized by his statement, then it is his problem, not my client's problem. Judge saheb yeh sab dosh be-buniyaad hain.
b) 'Yeh gaana to aapke south ke SPB aur Yesudas bhi nahin gaa sakte' –
He was just fan of Hemachandra, It was the appreciation for Hema. Even we here in this forum support our favorite singer irrespective of his/her singing quality, then why not a Hemachandra's fan like my client praise Hemachandra. And above all nobody is perfect, he my client felt Hema sang better than SPB and Yesudas then there is no problem in that.

It was not the criticism or against anybody, it was just to help his favorite contestant in showing his versatility. If ID can choose different kind of songs for Debo/Nihira everytime, then why not Himesh can suggest his favorite candidate to sing different kind of songs knowing that Hema can sing. And Hema proved in tha later stage of C2005.
d) 'Investing in my contestant is like investing in the country' –
Of course investing in Vinit wa investing in country, We know for the progress of economy money should move not to be stagnant. If public vote for Vinit then public money moves and ultimately it will help in country growth even in negligible quantity. But still it is the investment in the country.
