Shadyhtown and jayc1234,

Your points are well taken. I really did not pay much attention to Ujjaini's utterances. She looks so innocent and bubbly to me that may be I created the impression about her in my mind as I described. She stumbles so many times speaking Hindi which is natural for non Hindi person. That may be the rason for me not catching her claims.

I also agree with jace1234 about staging the show. We have discussed this "Staging" situation number of times. On TV you never know what to believe and what not to believe.

One fact we can not overlook and that is she is a very good singer.

Ujjaini is a good singer.. probably the best in EMAET and Aishwarya has improved drastically.I don't think ujjaini needs to do drama to get votes. The people of West bengal definitely know how to appreciate good talent and so do many other music lovers.. They would definitely do well. She fell, broke her leg(i stll wonder what has happened to the poor steps- nobody talks about it😕), she is a young girl anyone else would have just given up....but still she continues...

great going Ujjaini...👏

😆😆

Agreed - she does not need any other excuse to get votes, her talent speaks volumes...

I think all that she or anyone else says on the show is rehearsed😕

Ujjaini is the best female singer of the group. I don't think she needs sympathy votes. But, every singer not one and I mean every singers has tried to use their trump card to make a mark because this stupid show is based on public voting.

That's why twinkle said she can't be two faced and beg people for votes because if they don't want to vote they won't. I thought she was correct in what she said except that she got recognition because of the show so she should accept that.

Voting system creates this stupidity and people who say some singers did not beg for votes and others did are being biased to their favourites. OPen your eyes and ears and you will see that everyone did in their unique style. Either by using their own language and apppealing to a part of their personality which will attract people.

Probably Vishwas and Twinkle were real and not two faced and did not play the politically correct game so they lost.

Anyway, it's unfortunate that the voting system creates this but how many people watched SRGMP before the public voting. NOt many. Just the pure music fans. Now people that have no idea about music watch it and they vote through sms which make Zee richer. So SMS is here to stay, atleast for a while. So I would say get used to the singers using their trade mark public appeall.

Well - wasn't Twinkle appealing for votes all the while before she got out! It was the same public - when they voted for her, they were great and then suddenly they become worthless because she loses out.. And I am not saying here that public voting is great - its stupidity to leave musical decisions to non-musical people! All I am trying to say here is that Twinkle was too arrogant and could not even accept defeat graciously!

Twinkle and Vishwas remaining straight and not trying to evoke public sympathy? - what was it all about the Sharib-Twinkle-Vishwas story then? That was surely to evoke something right!

But you are right when u say that public voting is here to say and we should prepare ourselves for all this melodrama as a part of the package🤢

I agree with Ranig. Ujjaini probably doesn't need sympathy to get votes, but if she feels that by evoking sympathy she can get votes, she will surely do that. Whether it's by mentioning her school, her age, her leg - anything. It's an unpredictable, cut-throad world of voting out there, and our contestants know that simply talent is not enough, and if they need to cry and emote and beg and mention moms and dads in order to get votes, they will.

Jaya, I'm sorry I did not make myself clear about my tv Story. What Im saying is that she is lucky she participated, but they did not play the political game as well as they should of. Vishwas, first was to open about his feelings. Twinkle was not "seedhi, simple, savitri" enough. I think Twinkle got tired and that's what made her make those comments.

However, if you play the game then these things happen. But, I do agree they had their own tactics as did everyone. I would not spare them either because if they don't appeal to the public then what are they doing on a show based on public voting.

I guess it's sad , but public voting is here to stay.

Right.. I remember all the Vishwas shers now that went begging for votes.. one even went like:

"Isko vote kehna nainsafi hoga, yeh to humare liye aapka pyaar hai"

What happened to that pyaar when they got the least votes? Pyaar pe se vishwaas uth gaya?? 😕

And now I even remember Twinkle's comments.

"Agar aapko Vishwas pe vishwas hai, aur aap chahte hain ki yeh little star hamesha chamakti rahe, to hume vote dijiye"

After that, how can you say you have no belief in public voting 😕

Everytime when somebody got voted out she started crying. even when bappy was in the show ayshoria forgot few wards, but, singing was OK she started crying. Lekin uski paoki upar itna bara hatsa honiki baad woh bilkil rowyi nehi 👏
