Sharib never accepts his mistake. I was looking at the earlier episodes of SRGMP C05, their also he was giving lame excuses even in the preliminary episodes.

Hey Bhagwan public ko zara buddhi do...

But the real travesty was pairing Sharib with the incompetent besura
Banjyotsna. He is 17 years old and stuck with her and who knows what they
are pressured into.

This whole show is getting ridiculous.

After seeing the video and reading the article, I felt Sharib got the short end of the stick. I also have to take back what I said in another post that Banjo should have supported Sharib and not have been so agreeable with the accusation of lieing. In the video it did not seem like she was not supporting sharib, infact I felt that the MD's took it too personally, what Sharib said was true, the scale was not suitable for this jodi.

I do believe that lackluster performance was a combination of many factors scale being one of them but MD was the one who put the word "lie" out there because he could not accept the indirect blame. Although biased against BS, the GG's seemed to mind that they were not given a fair chance with that song. I don't think a singer of Sharib's calibre could say 'I have a cracked lip so I didn't do a good job". Lack of practice was one reason, and the statement that they were ok in rehearsal is just the md's word, GG's had no clue that the jodi was singing this song from their reaction.

After watching the video, I don't think there is anything to forgive Sharib for. HE DID NOT LIE. 😡 difference of opinion with MD and luckluster performance. Hota hai, I will vote for Sharib after this episode, I did not before as I did not like their jodi but now they are only second to UA on an average day and second to none on their best day.

In school we are bullied by the teachers. On stage the judges and MDs can push you around. We have no choice but to learn to survive the ordeal. The 17 year old is acutally very talented, and so are the rest. Banjo is coming up too. Keep it up and do not give up.

funny thing, i just saw the show, and he did NOT blame neone. He was just saying how he sang in a lower scale to help Banjyostna suit. It was HH who went on and on abt who gave u the song and blah blah. The MD was shouting at the pair when HH questioned him, not Shareb. That sucks.

good points, but:

1. when kids run amok, are the parents always to blame? yes, some things could be edited out. but wld that be fair to the other contestants who have had impeccable behavior? in the process of jumping over ourselves to crown Sharib the king of singers, are we ready to overlook the implicit lack of professional ethics on his part? he is not the only good singer in any case.

again, sharib tried to deceive the public here. he indirectly blamed folks who have had a long track record of working behind the scenes and giving us an excellent show. management is to blame for that? that's the mentality which let's people down- passing the buck and ducking responsibility. let the buck fall where it may, high up or low down. in this case, it happens to be sharib's fault, and i am not sure that he is all that low down anyway given his star-status.

btw, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU WERE ONE OF THOSE MUSICIANS? somebody has just wrongly and publicly accused you of bad musical judgment and is holding you responsible for their bad performance. is this what we can expect from him in the future when one of his stage shows goes wrong? rather than work on improving himself, he'll rely on his star-power to blame others and hood-wink the public? phir kehte hain, what is wrong with the public!!!

2. the show has helped keep these kids in the lime-light. normally, one has to pay to get face-time. if someone cant handle the pressure that comes with the success, they should be out. sorry, sharib is not the only good singer in the block. far from it, although because we find him "cute", we will not see that.

Well said...👏

And I am sure this shows your bias towards Sharib😡
