Sure...you can certainly contact me before you come...but as you know Lunar New Year is almost an year from now...in the meanwhile, I may visit Singapore😉

Sure...we can have 'hong bao'....yummy 'ha gau' (shrimp dumplings), 'cheong faan' (shrimps in rice rolls)...ohhh there are so many mouth watering cantonese items....you come and I will take you for 'yum cha' ..

😉😆😉

Dada - I started Bong based (Tagore thread) conversations, then instigated Tamil / Telugu conversations - now if we start mandarin - loog marenge. 😆

Just few things -

I love Hokkien food more than Cantonese. But I loooove Xiang Gang Mian 😛

If you come to Singapore - drop me a note - we SHOULD meet (will PM you my mail ID)

I havent heard Roja in Telugu, but Roja in Tamil is beautiful. Kadhal Rojave... sounded so soulful and the hindi one did not do as much justice to the emotions as the Tamil one did.

I think I agree with you Priya on Roja in Tamil...

sorry madhavi...after hearing the tamil lyrics, which the song was originally set for, the telugu lyrics at place looked like force translations...MPV...pls don't hate me for that...remember I am Telugu...😉

No. But I much prefer the Tamil version of the song. Somehow, all the songs, be it Roja or Bombay, the Hindi lyrics did not do justice to the original lyrics.

Maybe someone can post those lyrics here for the benefit of non Tamil members, with translation maybe.

but here priya, the telugu version ' chinni chinni aasa..' was simply more beautiful than tamil or hindi...
