This is from the song "aankhon mein kya ji?" in the movie "Nau do gyaarah". The situation is that Dev Anand and Kalpana Kartik are stranded in a deserted place when their vehicle breaks down. She feels thirsty and he tries to search for water. Meanwhile they start flirting too!

We discussed 2 other songs from this movie on this thread - 'hum hain rahi pyaar ke' and 'o aaja panchhi akela hai'.

All 3 songs have a fantastic picturisation.

Am just listening to "Tera Mera Pyar Amar, Phir Kyon Mujhko Lagta Hain Darr"....another gem of a song from Asli Naqli...Sadhana looked almost ethereal standing on the terrace as she waits for her beloved..

There is one funny incident related to this song. SD wanted Asha to say "Aah" before "chod do aanchal" and she was not getting it right. So it seems he pinched her hard and she said "Aah", then he told her this is the "Aah" I want. 😊

We have talked so much about our favourite song situations. But now let me tell you about one beautiful song which disappointed me totally when I saw it in the movie "Mere Sanam". I had imagined "Pukarta chala hu main" to be a song picturised on the lines "jawaaniya yeh mast mast bin piye" with the hero driving all by himself on a mountain road or something like that. But when I saw Biswajeet singing the song in the movie, it was a real let-down!
