Autmother - After seeing your comments on ARR's singing, or me (I doubt if you even read and understood what I have written), I too agree that we are in totally differnt leagues.

If you don't think of ARR as a good singer, then I'm sad to conclude that you probably don't understand music enough, or are discussing with a closed mind.

does anyone have comments/analysis on hema's nahi samne song. i didnt find anyone's analysis on it in any great detail. would appreciate if some of the knowledgeable folks out there could dissect it for me. thanks

i'm not saying that AS and HR were any better but i held a high opinion of ID(may a bit tooo high) and it was extremely disappointing to see his true colours. i still remember the dignity he carried himself with when i first saw him as a judge on this very show a couple of months before the challenge and he has completely tarnished that image. ID is no God. just cuz he praised some students from other gharanas and reprimanded his student at some instances does not make him "fair" (it was all part of the act to creat the impression of being fair else he wouln't blow his own trumpet). just cuz AS and HR always praised nhira does that make them fair? does himesh uncontrollabily praising chandu in his last episode suddenly make him fair?

in spite of all his cheap tactics, i still maintain that he was the best out of the three. nevertheless, cleverest among the fools is not a scholar right😛

I think Hemu's Vande Mataram was excellent and he deserved a 10 and here is why.

That song is sung with so much of passion that it is almost unbelievable. All songs A R Rahman sings change beats and pitches like a drunk driver on the road. To even attempt that song is a crazy feat and do live upto it, is a greater feat!

I thought he was brilliant in that. As for his voice becoming gruffy at low, isn't that how it is suppseod to be?! Listen to his 'Right Here Right Now', when he says 'Wind your body', look how his voice sounds then!! I think its just his style.

However, I do agree that he picks up his mistakes VERY fast. As for the other mistakes, I think with age it will come.

He still is the best male find of SRGMP.

Hema's Vande Mataram touched me the most, he sang it with lot of passion.
Even I feel he undoubtedly deserved 10!!
