It was a great pity to see Hema bowing out tonight despite singing better than Debojit and Vinit. Public voting at its worst!

5-10 years from now, when Nihira becomes the leading female singer...it would fun talking about how she was "voted out" in SRGMP C2005.

Imagine telling our grandchildrens (30 year later) about C2005, it would be fun/nostalgic. It would be even more fun if others also make it big.

😛

Yes, it will be ironic if the very public that has voted out Nihira, Hema, Sharib etc makes them the top singers.

But no, next year's SRGMP will produce new stars, so I wonder whether any one person will benefit. I think music directors will have limitless choices from now onwards.

What's more, film makers like Subhash Ghai can cut costs by giving songs to Vinit instead of Sonu Nigam, to Debojit instead of Udit Narain and so on. So the older batch of singers may soon get lesser and lesser songs unless they lower their prices!

May be another thing that needs to be eliminated are
'Audio Visuals'. I believe They only need to show since they enter into challenge until leave similar to that of "Fame Gurukul".. No Personal Life Visuals...

They can show that AV if they want and all that emotional stuff of their whole journey when he/she is eliminated as a tribute but not while he/she is in the race...

True.

I remember ID saying about both Nihira/Vinit..."Yeh public inko yahan layi hai aur yeh public hi inko ek din staar banayegi".

Hmmm...I don't mind AVs where there is no acting. I mean they can show shots of the contestants at home, their village/hometown, interviews of relatives etc but no need to show something contrived like a person getting up from sleep, his/her dreams and things like that. These people are not good actors so everyone can make out they are faking it when they try to act.

Eliminating AVs altogether may not be a good idea because they do provide some change from the singing.

There must be one round in which no instruments are played at all. That would give a clear idea of how well a singer can sing without instrument-support.

NNNoooo Way....

FARHA KHAN in srgmp or that type of person in this show.

Will ruin this show.

Indian idol1 or Fame Gurukul or Now Indian Idol2

are behind srgmp because of this performance criteria.

People like a good performance no matter what, when

jugdes hype this factor too much then public gets

confuse. And select people like QUZI(no offence to Quzi

lovers) and singers like Meenal and Amey and Kaurnya

come in bottom 3. So srgmp should stay away from this

performance NATAK....Be Hapyy 😊 😊 😊

This is where all the drama starts that he/she is trying to achieve this for his/her mother/father/lover and all the emotional things which is part of everyone's life.

Come on guy's be realistic....I believe everyone has their goals in life...And most of us would love to do what it takes(in the sense Hard Work) and become a succesful in life for our loved one's???..... So they are not any more special in that category than us .....

They need to prove they have enough talent to overcome those and gain votes legitimately not through sympathy......

Most important of all is a workshop for judges. What makes a good judge? One who is not whimsical or fuzzy in his thinking. Also, he/she should know which song is difficult, which is not. For instance a song like "jeeya dhadak dhadak" is not as difficult as "raina beet jaaye".

An original voice must garner extra points. Clones should not. I mean a person's voice might be similar to Sonu Nigam or SPB, but he must transcend that.

Jusdges must be given a CLEAR FORMAT for judging. Every aspect of singing must be given a weightage. Something like this:

Originality of voice: 5%
Ability to sing song close to original song:5%
Ability to sing in sur: 60%
Ability to sing in accordance with taal: 20%
Performance: 5%
Complexity of song: 5%
