It will be interesting to have judges from other countries as well. For example, a well-known singer from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Middle East and even UK, US.

Excellent topic for discussion started by "Punjini" 👏

All the suggestions so far can make SaReGaMaPa – 2(If it started.) a good musical challenge. 😃

Division of % should be like this :
1) Public Voting - 10%
2)Studio public voting -0% (Should not be there).
3)Orchestra people voting -10%
4)Mentor's voting (except for candidates own mentor) - 15% + 5%.
5) knowledgeable judges voting - 60%

Even mentors don't know how to rate the contestant. How can one give 10 out of 10 ?? this means he / she is perfect & they don't need any improvement. In this world there is always a scope of improvement. So even voting mento meter needs to be change in digital form. The marks can be given in decimals also, like 8.2, 8.7, 6.4 etc.

But still there are few things left which need to be discuss.
1) Candidate or Mentor, should not be allowed to leave the challenge in b/w. Like ID, Hemani, Hem & Vinit.
2) NO ENRTY OF HR & his love story. 😡
3) If we reduce the public voting from 100% to 10%, will this Part-2 be more successful then part 1 ??? You can see even in INDIAN IDEAL Part – 2 have 100% public voting after seeing the FLOP FAME JODI.

Of course, no walk-outs should be permitted. Also it is distasteful to have contestants' love stories being discussed in the manner of Vinit's, just to make people watch that episode where Vinit's lover will be revealed.

Yes, I was surprised to see mentors losing their sense of balance and objectivity and giving 10/10 to contestants. Surely, only someone of the level of Lata, Asha and Rafi can get 10/10.

I THINK ZEE SHOULD FIND NEW MENTORS......
BUT JITIN LALIT SHOULD BE THERE.

WHAT If we reduce the public voting from 100% to 10%, will this Part-2 be more successful then part 1 ??? You can see even in INDIAN IDEAL Part – 2 have 100% public voting after seeing the FLOP FAME JODI. ?????

Yes, the prog will be successful even if we reduce the public voting to 10%. That's because, if you remember people were watching SRGMP even before public voting began!

I believe this Gajendra Singh will try to improve SRGMP because his standards are slightly higher than Fame Gurukul etc.

Jatin Lalit were my favourites too. I would add Shankar Mahadevan and Shiv-hari to the mentors. Himesh should go but Ismail and Aadesh can be retained. I like Aadesh because he often scolded Himani for not singing well even during the final stages. Ismail because he has some knowledge of classical music. Himesh is the worst.

WHAT I FEEL IS THE CHOICE OF JUDGES CUM MENTOR IN INDIAN IDEAL 2 IS BETTER.
B'COS THERE IS SINGER(SONU), ONE MUSIC DIRECTOR(ANU MALIK) & FARAH FOR PERFORMANCE (WHICH INCLUDE DANCE & X-FACTOR).

WHAT GAJJI CAN DO IS :
1) CHOOSE MENTOR FROM MUSIC DIRECTOR AS SUGGESTED BY "PUNJINI" LIKE Jatin-Lalit, Shankar Mahadevan, A.R. Rahman, Ismail Darbar and Shiv-Hari.
2) IN JUDGES SECTION - THEY SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE MIN. 3 JUDGES WHICH INCLUDE ONE SINGER & ONE LIKE FARAH KHAN WHO CAN JUDGE THERE PERFORMANCE AND ONE FROM MUSIC WORLD.

Actually I would like to see 5-6 judges in every episode because even judges can be biased or simply ignorant such as Kalyanji (or was it Anandji). As the programme towards final stages, there should be more and more judges. In fact, I want to see 10-12 judges in the stage where 10 finalists are left. This might be expensive for Gajendra but the public will love to watch it!

ONE MORE SUGGESTION FOR GAJJI :
THERE SHOULD BE ONE ROUND OF SINGING A NEW SONG, SPECIALLY MADE FOR THEM.
THIS SONG SHOULD BE GIVEN TO ALL GHARANAS, THEIR MENTORS
SHOULD COMPOSE THE SONG FOR THEM.

IN THIS WAY ONE CAN JUDGE THE ORIGINALITY OF THE SINGER.

That's OK but only in the final round. Not in the beginning when there are too many contestants.

THE SAME THING WAS DONE IN FINAL ROUND OF INDIAN IDEAL PART - 1.

AND I SEE NO HARM IF GAJJI CAN STEALING IDEA FROM I.I. PART - 1.
