very well written but there are few points....

ARR never got complete training in Western Classical, he has a diploma in piano playing from Trinity collegeof music London which is same as IR's( in guitar)

He was a keyboarder in orchestra of IR & it is here he came across string of people who knowingly/unknowingly taught him Indian/Carnatic classical.

This is clearly written in profile of ARR.
Debo & Hema both need to work on urdu.

i m a vinit fan but i accept Himani, Nihira and Hema is Technically better than Vinit

Thank you so much for taking the time to get his opinion and posting it. As someone who has painstakingly trained in Carnatic classical for over 22 years in a traditional guru-sishya environtment and taught music as well, I just could not relate to the comments of some of the mentors.
It was heart warming to see that there are others who feel the same way.
I agree about the AIR competitons...they are judged by senior musicians and standards are very high.

For someone who writes about maintaining decorum and not maligning contestants on non-musical issues, you sure do take liberties when it comes to your commenting on Vineet. And FYI, if you read through Anurag's article, he mentions that both Vineet and Debu (not Vineet alone, please note) go besura a lot of times. Very conveniently, you seem to have ignored Debu's flaws while highlighting Vineet's.

By waxing eloquent about Debu and bashing Vineet, you are not really proving yourself to be any different from those "Vineet fans" that you despise so much.
