what was objectionable here and who complained about it. at slightest
hint of HR/vinit criticism you go in and close the topic without giving
reason.

Dear aashiq - the topic you linked amounted to spamming. It had no
content, although the topic insunuated vulgarity.

Mods, thanks for closing such threads. It makes my enjoyment of this
forum better.

Get me clear there yes... We don't need to answer your every question!

I am giving you this reply coz you are wise enough to understand that this forum is also meant for members below the age of 13 and we don't tolerate any kind of abusive language on the forum.

Also get yourself reading the IF Code Of Conduct for future & any kind of problem, simply don't open post and ask questions that have obvious answers.

tell me what's wrong in discussing moderator's fairness? there was no improper language, no personal attacks.

tell me what was wrong in the following post ....

nothing. but jem4srk closed it at slightsest hint of HR/vinit criticism

Please let us allow some decency on the forum...

But you can allow a thread saying GANG-RAPE....certainly very educational.

When other mentors are bashed, you hardly close the topics, only the ones around HR are closed by you as statistics would reveal. Your judgement is compromised by your affinity for HR. You simply don't qualify to be a fair moderator.

Moderator should be neutral, If a moderator himself/herself are telling openly he or she is supporter of somebody involved in competion as Jem has already mentioned she is greatest fan of HR. I can put one example how a moderator or observer should be. When I was appearing for my board exam, my uncle refuse to set the examination paper just because I was appearing in the same exam. Moderator should be impartial.

kindly lissen buddy n try to understand is there any point to argue..?

Y put a tag "adults only"

you would have put a normal subject y make a topic smell that its gonna catch adult nonsense soon?

You should understand the small age member easily catch such topics and then if the topic turns vulgar it becomes to late to close it.

Jem that just taken a precaution! Isn't it better than cure?

Rare bhai, come on...do you know that SRGMP section is the most volatile forum? Every second there are idiots opening up profane posts either in favour of or against a contestant. Although I am not at all an HR-Vinit fan, i agree that there are loads of profane topics being opened about them. And i've myself notified to Jemdi and gotten them closed. And she's also fairly closed topics which are bashing Debo or Hema unnecessarily, bringing in regionalism etc.

It is not humanely possible to keep a nighrahi of every topic that is opened. There's too much bad blood here. Remember, the mods aren't paid to do their job.

Why the topic regarding their fairness was closed? Put yourself in their position. You have a job, family, and this unpaid moderating job. You see hundreds of stupid, inane, idiotic postings and are pelted with PMs every second. And then someone opens a post questioning your fairness. How will you react? It isn't easy being a mod. Spare jemdi, bhaskar, minnie etc. They're really doing a GREAT job managing this section.

i am not objecting to deleting profanity.

but i strongly object to the term volatile. who gets to decide this forum is volatile? and what are the criteria?

mods don't get paid for this job and they have families too. but that does not give them permit to be unfair. that does not give them right to close the topic that discusses their fairness without bad language within mintes of the initial post.

if they can't do their job properly they have freedom to quit just like people have freedom to complin. world is much better without censorship.

In this case I support you Jem. Strictly for Adult in title is not a good thing.
