who do you complain to? is there a process where you can complain about the fairness of the moderators?

thanks, my post questioning moderator's fairness was closed without explanation. there was nothing improper there. when i requested to reopen it the request was denied.

so that's why i was asking who should we go to if we have complaints about the moderator.

any help is appreciated.

i am not after you in particular. but yes, in this case you've been unfair and high-handed.

moderators should not be entitled to unaccountable authority. that is the point i want to make.

do you know if sree_20 and/or vijay would read this post or do we need to send them PM? thanks once again.

I am sorry that you have felt that I have been unfair & high-handed but think about it: I have managed this section from day one. Put yourself in my position, tell me what would you do & how would you manage this section yourself?

as i have said tme and again, modertor's job is to moderate -- edit out profanity. they should not decide if the group is volatille or which topics people should discuss. this forum is all about voicing opinion while respecting other people's views -even when you do not agree with them.

the moderator should never ever close a topic without any explnation especially when the topic discusses their fairness.

btw, i have sent you PMs and replied to your PM this morning.

We are moderating - many posts get edited when profanity is visible. I receive many PMs from members who send me topic links that need to be taken care of. Whenever a topic is closed, a message is left stating the reason why.

Think about this: we get so many topics created per second so we are bound to not notice some of them!
