NE of India (yes India) doesn't have to be proud only when somebody becomes famous. They have so much to be proud of apart from providing some of the biggest talents...
That is the the most green part of India. They have virgin land, beautiful landscapes, nature. The purity of the nature runs through the most simple people of NE... I have been to parts of NE and have been spellbound by the natural beauty of the region. Its shame we (the so-called Indians) neglect this beautiful region.
And I am not from NE... But I am an Indian, nature lover and admirer fo good things in life...

Enough of my rants. back to SRGMP bashing.... 😊

hey its ok to be off topic... just thru this thread atleast us non NE ppl r getting to know the beauty and purity of that land and its ppl and geting to the appreciate god's gift, which is in the form of NE

btw for all those ppl thinking vinit is innocent him and his sant guru himesh, lied about the ULFA threat calls... gajji himself checked the records of their landlines and mobiles and found that no such call was made... he may be doing it in himesh's influence but that hardly means he is blameless

My point is that I find silly the over-glorification of these people who spend half their monthly income on voting for a show, which will have no tangible benefits for their own family/people.

What I find even more revolting is Debo's using the above example as a shameless plug in order to garner sympathy. If he is a stand-up man, he should discourage such frivolty by his brethren.

Good talent goes out and it is an insult to music when people push a lesser talent when its their home state.
As far is Vinit goes, he is by far the best male singer out there, infact he will rule Indian music in the coming years, I can bet on that.
The last few episodes in Debo sang, he lost his voice in all 3 - and thats why he was given less marks by the judges.
These SMS programs are busy filling their pockets on the cost of Talent and taking people for ride. Plus writers like you are taking your medium for granted by imposing you incorrect views on others. You have a platform, please dont misuse it !

More over you are talking about the vote counting and all.. can you put the figures and all with Vinit's performance then you will find out.. Stop making this one sided thinking and comments, I am sure you will think both side of coin.

Don't get me wrong. I am not getting hysterical for Debo. I prefer Hema. But Debo is damn good a singer and WAY better than Vineet anyday.

It seems you are a vinit fan who doesn't believe in logic at all.It doesn't matter if you think that the voting by NE people is silly.None gives a damn as to what you think silly and what you consider intelligent.It's the NE people discretion and let them do what they feel like.Who the hell are you to call their actions silly?Just grow up and stop being a 'nosey parker' .

u just think it is over glorification becuz u r jealous, jealous of the attention these ppl r getting for what they have done... debojeet didn't tell them to spend half their income on sms... he knows how much hard it is for ppl over there to earn money and he is truly greatful to them for their sacrifice... now if he is showing his gratitude u have problem with that too?? GROW UP! and if vinit was getting so much votes from his homestate would he tell them not to waste their money on him? NO! he wouldn't, not unless it was his family's money...
