Shabbir Kumar was a joke 😆 . Accident ho gaya, rabba rabba 😆 😆 .
Agree 100% with lajawab, except that part where you said that Debo will only get about 10 offers per year. Well, Debo has already sung for Hindi Films, and with his riyaazi gala and his well honed deep voice, he may get offers.

Can u please tell me which Hindi film and which song? Just curious

Sorry Uselogic,

But I was asking adwarkanath for DEBU's list of HIndi FIlms in which he sang.

Thanks though

In all these contestants I am grading few of them as follow:
Nihira: She has best chance to be successful in Hindi music industry. She has clear diction, nice voice, khanak in voice, nice breath control.

Sharib: He is very good singer, he has some attraction in his voice, he can be successful in classical songs he also has some chance to succeed in industry.

Hema: I personally do not like his singing and his singing never touched my heart but I still feel he is as good as Sharib. And I really want him to be successful in Hindi music industry. He is very talented singer but he is not good in singing soft romantic songs. His voice lacks the emotional feeling which you need to get from singing.

Debojit: He is very inconsistent, he missed sur but when he sinng he always touch the soul of the song. I think he can also do good in industry with minimizing incosistencies and by controling his nerveousnous.

Himani: She can succeed in some kind of songs but she needs to improve on diction and she needs to improve diction. She always manipulates last word of the line. But her voice is good, and can be successful with hard work not with politics. She has age on her side to improve.

Vinit: I really did not want to comment on him but commenting, It is really really very difficult for him to be successful in indutry. I am 100% sure even HR will not fulfill his promise and he will not give him more than 2-3 songs. You should have originality. He is very good on sur, diction, feel.

This is my opinion, I am not telling you guys to accept it or deny it. Mere ko gaali na dena bhai.

As the closing of much stretcheeeed SRGM comes near, it's time to look in retrospect.
First of all, if Hemu is out, it is very sad, he has a rich voice & riyaazi awaaz, he has given innumerable good performances & has been fairly consistent, one of the few times when he didn't shine was when he attempted Kishoreda's songs, in my earlier posts I've clearly said that Kishore da was a genius with a voice quality that won't be heard again, who ever attempts his songs is bound to be criticised eg. Saptak, Rajeev..
IMHO, Chandu has nothing to worry, he has been noticed by composers from all over & he should be rained with offers.
One thing which I noticed in his singing ( when he was singing bachna e hasino, or was going on higher notes in the taan of wo lamhe wo baatein) is that his voice still needs to break and thats why he went thin at higher notes. But no denying that he has tremendous potentials, he sounded sensational at low notes...more he goes towards C, D, better he sounds.

All of them will have to compete against much established singers, eg the best of the best Nihira also has Shreya/great Alkaji to compete with, but her technical superiority puts her far ahead.
Himani certainly needs to diversify, again she has to compete with Richa Sharma & Sunidhi, both of them are technically strong.
Vinit needs good guidance terribly: he copies Sonu all the way..
If Sonu succeded then following could be the reasons:
1. there was a void after Rafi saab, preious clones like Mohd Azia failed
2. Sonu branched out & diversified
3. Sonu is technically very good.
Vinit needs to come up with better potentials than Sonu if he wants to make a mark.
Sharib is one great singer with extreme potentials, with strong classical base & fire to diversify, I really want to see him singing, I notice that he sang many songs in a diff way & turned them to his advantage.
As far as Debo is concerned, he is quite good but needs to be more consistent & shed his nrevousness, he has age on the wrong side & needs to make a mark & real fast. Bollywood doesn't have time for mistakes..!
Rajeev & Paresh who came in top 12 need to start with swar alankaars in drawing rooms, they need to be trained, geniuses like Kishore are very few in this world.
Both Ujjaini & Raktima need more training, eventually they will be competing with Nihira/Shreya. Ujjaini needs to control her damsell in distress attitude, but they are quie young& this is greatest advantage with them. Ujjaini already is singing in Fanaah for Jatin-Lalit. I think this song has got recorded & ready to hit stores.
Ive discussed Twinkle in ample in one of my previous post.
My say: from this point onwards following are the singers who are ready to rock & roll:
Nihira, Shairb, Hema & Debojeet.

Excellent analysis, though I do think that Debojit is not ready for playback. Whenever he tries to sing a high range song he has ALWAYS faltered and he cannot carry a full song without cracking his voice. I also think that Hema needs to work on his accent.

He does one function in about two alternate days and he charges Rs. 20000/= for each function. So 15 x 20000 = Rs.300000 per month and that too is excluding the money he charges for singing in films and the contracts with different channels . Not bad eh.So I would not exactly say that they are going to have a tough time ahead.

Tax-free? 😉
