Wow uselogic...

After Hema's ousting, I have vowed not to get emotionally involved in these reality shows. Let Karunya, and Amey go out...and I'll say whatever...these shows are not about choosing good/best singers. it's all about $$$ cha-ching.

These people WILL learn their lesson when their so-called winner's albums don't sell. Unless ofcourse people really believe that they are voting for good singers...rather than just someone from their region, or their school/college. It's one thing to cast multiple votes for your fav. contestant, but will anyone buy multiple albums...doubt it.

This show has got almost all of us emotionally involved. But then, the next show will start and we will be back rooting for someone else.
Seeing new talent come up is fun but wil they make it big? I dont think so. Then you spot someone special like a Shreya Ghoshal or Nihira. So keep watching for the next Nihira or Shreya or Sneha....

you are absolutely right Raghav, we are simple people & getting involved emotionally is our weakness, Im sure many of us shall hang around this section...
SRGM is a diff. programme, Im sure Gaj will take lessons from past.

So true, look at us we are loosing our patience. Any topic which says "breaking news" or " result is out", get maximum hits ,,and good music article get so less hits

This is true, but usually its because we want "Good news" that the one we consider GOOD is not out. If any musician produces Crappy music really quick, do you honestly think he will be successful only due to the fact that he can churn out something or the other really quick? Maybe it just says something about the tastes of the majority of the new generation, and their need to want to be 'Western' or THEIR perception of Western. Look at some of the Videos on ZEE. A pujabi song, with girls dancing even more crudely than MTV or BET. Gross!

Does anyone know if Abhijeet (who lost to Debo in Judges round) has done any plyback? I remeber a couple of years ago (don't remeber if Sonu/Shaan was hosting), he won 10 consecutive episodes and then stepped down. I thought he had a good playback type voice.

I happened to catch the episode where he lost to Debo, and was surprised. I guess the second song they sang (either Shava shava or soni, soni Aaja Mahi Ve...can't remember), suited Debo's voice or style better. Has he had any success?
