The point is...that nobody understood what the rules were or that the rules were going to be changed as the contestants went along. I have a 11 year old daughter who loves to sing. As a parent, I would be happy for her to compete in a contest that tested her but not this contest in this format.

I did not like the concept of designers telling the contestants what to wear or messing with their faces and hair.

I was uncomfortable at the look on Swananda's husband's face when Jatin kissed her head. He did not like it one bit...which is probably why Jatin later told her to send him a rakhi...someone who saw the look captured on TV must have clued Jatin in later.

I was uncomfortable when Twinkle took the "performance" bit a bit too far...

I was uncomfortable when HR goes on and on about the undying love of a 17 year old ..give me a break...he is 17! and my little one sits watching it...not knowing what to make of it.

I was uncomfortable when a middle-aged Adesh Srivastava who kept calling Himani his daughter, went down on his knees and took her hand.

I don't blame all these kids...they are there to compete and are going with the flow...but I can speak for myself without judging others...that I would not send my child there...not to this new SRGMP.

Its less about music and more about other things. I think that parents that send their children should think hard about whether they want their kids to be making these choices on air in full view of the public.

They are sending their young one's in, trusting the show's producers and these mentors to be above board.
What I saw was only one mentor. Ismail Durbar. The other's all made me uncomfortable for a variety of reasons.

I know times have changed...and folks feel you have to do all these things to connect with the "public"...and that is OK. I just thought that SRGMP was different. I was wrong.
