I see with tremendous surprise no. of newbies openly attacking participants A, B or C.
I believe one of the rule of the forums is not to openly wage war against participants/mentor.
I remember distinctly, in Dec.some forum members attacked Hema in the name of diction, not realising that he is only 18 yrs old, not born in Hindi belt. One of the major reasons for such attacks was that Hema used to get a no. of greens /thumbs up from judges.
So inorder to put him down it was necc. to attack at some place like diction etc.
Now I see no. of members (mostly newbie) attacking Debojeet, because he is peaking, also he is getting massive votes.
No. of hate threads are opened by newbies against him, because they know that come what may they can't change the pattern of voting, hence the vitriolage.
I often feel miffed that such racial threads ae allowed to persist for a good time, whic h means that it is possible to attack & get away.
Suh inane mails are biggest reasons why people like Kishore Bhakta, musicbuff, musicpulse write so less.
So plz for God's sake if you have to support a participant open a thread in his favour but stop making racist/regional comments, already there is enough venom in the forum.
Moderators this post is also for all of you.

I agree!!! I am so sick of seeing comments attacking the participants because of where they come from, or the way they speak or talking about their families this has nothing to do with their families!!

Thanks for posting this thread. One of the reasons I have SRGM for years
is that they would highlight and celebreate the diversity of cultures,
talents, languages, through rounds such as a folk song round and the
regional songs round.

Thanks to the old SRGM I am a second generation Bengali NRI who loves
Tamil music (no kidding!)

Now instead of using music to bring us together, the SRGMP show is
using this SMS system to increase its short term revenue but in the
process is destroying its brand and ultimately decreasing its revenue.

Besides destroying its brand, SRGMP is also chipping away at its NRI
audience by marginalizing them and by expecting them to pay $25/
month for this garbage. My 2 and 5 years olds used to be crazy for the
show but now there is no much talking and fighting and seemingly
proprtionately less music to silly AV's not to mention all the Ajmeri Baba
commericials, that my kids refuse to watch it unless it is recorded and we
can skip over the commercials and the mentor drama and AV's.

Sorry that the last part is off topic but I hope that after this is over, the
music lovers of this forum can start better topics on a new forum.

PS -- MODS -- please censure people for making racist attacks. I hated it
against Hema and I hate it against Debo.

I dont know if you read my mails, it would be difficult for you to find a mail where I attacked any singer/familywala.
Be it Himani or Vinit....
Any attack is condemned against any one.
