i agree again. however the creators of the show are probably obsessed by the viewership and that's what is fuelling the crap like topi, pyar, walkouts etc. people like me me (from india and abroad alike) cannot protest such cheap tickery and get this forum to vent their frustration.

as somebody else on this forum mentioned, we too subscribe to zee in US only for this show. my wife and i were impressed by the talent of the contestants and decided to keep zee subscription throught the finals. however we are getting more and more disillisioned, still love for music makes us watch this show. personally i try to ignore what HR and vinit say during the show (except vinit's song) but it takes a saint to condone the duo.

It is a sorry state of affairs that those people ( mentors & Zee)who should have highest standard of ethics, have done everything to divide us & make us fight.
What was the need to openly discuss pyar/topi etc.
And why Zee openly discusses breakup of votes.....??

agreed! take example of nihira. why don't you see the rumors about her flying around. becasue she didn't do anything to fuel the rumors. i really admire that girl. when the produces came up with the "theme" of "love in your life" she chose to showcase her love for god and avoided any nonsense as any contestant's love life is none of of other people's business. contrast that with himani, poor ujjayini and vinit/HR's love cry from the rooftop.

Now that it is reliably known that Ms Kapur has returned to her school in faridabad to finally finish her 12th grade it is easy to ignore the goings on in Mud Island or in Hotel Oberoi ...
And Twinkle is an accomplished woman in her own right
She is aspiring to become an IAS Officer in tow with her just pursuit of her musical talent ...
Just one aside here though
once you become a cynosure of the media and show inappropriate skin , it is not always possible to side step some comments and rumours .. Just as they emerge so wil they whither away after the dust is settled
We did not make this august competition a lousy farce .. and like it is severally said by esteemed members , when one vents one vents .. Why have one standard for vinit fans and the other for matured ones ?
Thats absurd and impractical
take issue with those who curse each other out and out
No one wants to disrespect any sex whether male or female .. Just the females are not gold edged I say..... If you conduct yourself with decorum then you shall be treated likewise ...

We have members ranging in ages from Preteens to probably 60+ yrs old. There are oldies and very very young ones. There are highly musically learned members VS some with no knowledge. But we all are here for one reason and it is our love for Music and show called SRGMP. I have seen so much hatrate, racism, personal attacks on the grounds of where people come from to some one who does not have knowledge on music considered total dumb. Older members need to remember that they were very young at one time. These members are not going to have same liking as older ones. Same thing young ones will have to remembe. In every profession some thing new/change comes and people have hard time accepting it. Change is the only constant thing in life. We have to be open to new ideas and new music. We cherish the golden moments but let the young ones also create golden moments for the future generation to be. Remember life experiences make us better in judgement as well as in who we are. Why can't we all respect one another? This forum is for every one to respectfully voice their opinion. Just to make one's point they don't need to attack another or put some one down. That is not professionalism. These last 3 contestants are there for a reason. They all are good singers. Best is already gone (My Dear Nihira). I am requesting to each and everyone please please stop this debates on putting each other down. Just make statement about your fav and move on. Do not write anything attacking or doragatory about another contestant that you may not like but remember that person could be someone's fav. We all are attached to our personal fav. We only have 2 more wks left in this contest and I think we can live on this forum like civilized people. I have confidence in each and every one of you. Have patience and professionalism. Treat the others as you want to be treated and there won't be any problem I promise. My observation only and Thanks for reading lenghthy post. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Varshaji,

I could not agree with you more !!!! You've hit ALL the points that were going on in my mind for weeks !!!! Respect is the key... A little more sensitivity to other people's feelings would help a lot !!!!!!

So in this case, I forgive you for your lengthy post 😆 😆

Take care!!

on the contrary, just because a girl is somewhat playful and tomboyish, it does not make her cheap. 😊

i didn't say that. but if you don't want any rumors don't fuel them. personally i didn't think himani did anything wrong. my main aim is at vinit/HR duo.

MRSPETLOVERUS:

Very nice posts. I agree that the final three are all good singers. In fact, I
think that I remember writing that 10/12 finalists could be worthy
winners.

I think this forum reflects a lot of frustration at the manipulation of the
public and standards to which SRGMP has sunk. This was to me anyway,
one of the classiest shows on Zee and in fact why I subscribed. I hope
that they go back to the old format so that all of us can unite in just being
ahppy to see talented kids.

Also re: comments on female contestants, you are right. I don't know
why such comments are made at all. I blame Zee for overglamourizing
these young girls. Himani started out as a fresh faced tomboy.
Regardless, mean personal comments on the contestants are not necc.
There is enoguh to comment on with regard to their singing!

BTW, I am not a Vineet fan but I have heard way too many implications of
improper behavior of an unseemly nature with HR and I think that those
kinds of comments should end as well. Whatever we think of them, to
suggest such things about a young boy however irritating is not right.

as i said my aim was vinit/HR. himani didn't do anything by herself but the av they showed for her (a suspicious-gendered person trying to be her beau) was in poor taste. but that was probably the producer's fault.

At cost of myself repeating what MysticalMagic said, I don't think Himani or Twinkle had done anything to fuel these rumors. They did carry themselves pretty decently since the begining of the show. I love Nihira for her singing, but each person is different. Nihira must have been a very quiet and shy girl while the others are little out-going. That really doesn't mean that people can attack her character. I agree they choose to be in the limelight, but people should be spared of their personal life. TALK ONLY ABOUT SINGING TALENT. VOTE ONLY FOR THE TALENT. Period.

i can accept the nailbiting av as funny, but the av about her lack of dancing skills (especially with sevral kids condemning her dancing skills) was totally uncalled for. again i would blame producers for this. they probably had made up their minds that nihira will have to leave (maybe because she refused to participate in the walkout charade?)

i wonder why they didn't show any such thing about other participants.

He should have announced all rules under terms and condition to take a part in contest to be able to not only sing but to be able to dance and perform. Just like FG and II rules are laid out from the get go. Once being aware of rules one can not dance and perform is another thing than they have to accept their defeat. But Ganja has been making and changing rules as he is going along. I think Nihira took part in this contest based on original concept of SRGMP. Had she known what she knows now may be Nihira could have either thought about it or done something about it. In this case ID as well as her parents should have given her more guidance what was required to win the contest. It was eminant once they made constume, hair, make up changes as well as requiring everyone to perform. Nihira also knew what was coming to her. it is reality and we all have to face it. Too bad she lost in this contest but she has not lost out on her career. It is SRGMP lost out on having the best singer in my opinion.

I appreciate for not bending for cheap publicity.. hats off to Nihira...

Dear Varshaji, Somehow it was Himani herself who made herself much talked about because of her choice of attire. I do not see any remarks both +Ve or -Ve about Ujjaini in this forum nor about Nihira. So I believe its this young girl, in her pursuit to become popular has projected herself in ways both +Ve as well as sometimes very -Ve. Absolutely nothing against Himani. Am just thinking aloud & I respect her talent.

So now I know who to be aware of since us female are not goldedged as you say 😉 . Both sexes should be respected but as I was talking about Himani I mentioned women.
