Our Debojit got 41% votes. The show ended on Monday. There was lot's of
drama during shooting. All three other participants walked out of the show after debojit was first declared winner with maximum votes. Then Vineet came to stage and said he does not obey this decision as Debo is getting votes from North East only and he is not going to sing. He told he will declare debojit is the winner.
At this point, the audience was stunned and silent, and Ismail Darbar re-challenged Vineet to sing the same song live (without any prep) as Debo. Vineet was nervous and denied to take the challenge.
Many thing happened there that i cannot describe now. Also on the show many thing will not be shown. Show had to stopped for some time. Debojit also complained about phone line problems in north east and then again Mentor Himesh got angry with him. Debojit thanked people of north east for voting him. Of course Himani cried. People here are fully supporting Debojit. Political parties and local leaders are too openly supporting Debojit and aks people to vote. Municipal commissioners of SILCHAR are campaigning door to door and distributing liflets and ask people to vote for Debojit, Guwahati City fan also campaigned and they very happy when news comes (Debojit first position), People are shouting and dancing.

Debojit alias 'Bapan' has become the pride of Assam. Today in guwahati, debojit's fan campaigned door to door for him. On each cyber cafe, they put debojit's poster and banner. Everybody from younger generation to older, voting for him. There is festive atmosphere here in guwahati city. On each public booth, his fan was seen voting for him using one rupee coin. Debojit, for the uninitiated, is the golden voice from Assam who is amongst the few finalists on Challenge 2005. Out of 1.2 Lakh participants, he is now in top 4. It's a significant achievement and for the first time any one from north east could go that far. His latest performance of a Kishore Kumar classic gained him much kudos, not only from his hometown but also from the rest of the country.

Debojit's fan was seen shouting and asking people for vote. They took loudspeaker and other electronics instruments and campaigend whole town. Police was nervous and tried their best to control these
debojit fan. Atmosphere is really hot and all eyes in on debojit next.
