The business of regional voting should never have been allowed. The votes from non-native states should only have been counted for each candidate. Similarly, the mentors continually yap for votes, at times giving us a feeling that we are hearing an election speech. I also feel that the mentors have constantly tried to rake up the emotions of people by talking about the candidates mother, father, lady love, artificial tears etc. Common man we are talking of an art and let an artist win on merits, which should be judged by eminent people from that field. Any way hope the new format would be good for all of us. 😊

Lets see what happens next tomorrow. After reading all your messages I also feel that these kids may not have this much guts to walk out from the show and Mr. Gajendra Singh also admitted that. Well so lets see what happens tomorrow.

BTW Assam is very much part of India as any other state. How can we forget that India is one of the major tea producing nations and most of it comes from North East India. And you all know me how much I love TEA!!! And the people & the place there are also very nice. 😃

Before judging debos performance compared to HHV why did these three did not stage a walkout when nihira was eliminated through public voting. she was best of of all these four. they kept quiet bcos the choice of public shd be respected. when their [HHV] turn come they are feeling the heat of the public poor voting at them and staging a walk out. that is not fair. so many good singers like rakthima, paresh,nihira,sharib all went out bcos of public voting only. Had judge given the choice nihira and sharib would have been the winner. these three would have lost long back.

I live in the US but this is one show I never miss. cause it started out as very clean show.Off course it is wrong to walk out of the contest at the final (almost)stage.There should never have been voting at all.Even though mejority of Indians love music, most of them do not understand the final naunces and intricacy of singing to chose among the final four who are really good. Regionalism is evident from very begining Hemchandra got 70% of votes from southern states. Nihira used to get highest votes from Maharashtra,Vineet from UP. This shows the biased nature of voters.Now it is too late to change any criteria such as to remove 'Voting'at this point of time cause it would be unfair to the earlier participants who were voted out.
Nihira has a better voice than Himani.Hemchandra has a language problem and can not pronounce proper Hindi/Urdu.Balasubramanyam was a very good singer but you could say he was from south when listening to his songs.Even though Paresh could not speak Hindi it never showed while singing.Vineet sounds like Sonu Nigam do we need another Sonu? Debojit has a different voice he has improved a lot under ID.
In final round they must have neutral panel of at least seven judges which must include retired musicians who may not have vested interst.And to bring neutrality musicians auch as Runa liala and Adnan Sami may be included

color=green I always liked Debujit but walking out is really unprofessional. When they were getting regional votes, no one complained about it. I think public knows who is good and let them accept it and just hug the winner for his achievement.

About multiple voting...it was not new system. It was there right from the beginning..now why they are making a big fuss about it???

I think Debujit is a winner!!!

May I also add that from now to the finals the 'Mentors'must be seated among common audience.We have had enough of them. They did a good service training the singers.Now they must enjoy the 'fruits'of their labour.

He should have been voted out long time ago..and i beleive the militants from North East threatened Gajendra.

My Choice would be Himani as the Winner and Hema as second.In my view Vinit is a great singer but lost out because he tries to copy Sonu Nigam.Hema's voice is original..

I also felt very bad when Nihira was voted out..

Anyways... walking out was not a good thing..but they might have felt they were not getting the justice...

They could have edited if they wanted to.I think they let it slide for TRP.Even though the some of the people from the studio audience are posting messages on this board,how many people read this forum? Such leakes will make the programme even more intersting to the public

I feeling like cursing those three idiots.....who are YOU to walk out and try and stop the show thats been running for decades......Ismail made a huge point when he said "tum logon ko hi hemasha number 1 votes mile?" ...i was always a vinit supporter, not after what happened, i just wish debojit wins....it was the publics vote, not anything else.....and debo always got 75% or more votes from NE, this time he got 80....big difference?.....himani, vinit, and hema didnt even have the fainest clue what they should do or say, they just decided to go......no matter whats happens, the votes give the results, and the participants cannot change that....
