Yes, It was a right thing but I think it would be best if they did it when Nihira got out... I agree with most of you that Debo is getting votes only from assam is unfair.

And about this politics, I am not too aware of those yet I feel that its all drama to keep the viewers interested to the show n make a huge hipe about all this...

Swananda was a good singer, I felt bad when she was voted out but she was voted out, her performance the night before was not good due to her throat problem..

and when Sharib was voted out.. I CRIED.. I do not mean that he was the best.. but it was definitely too early for him to go when there were participants of less talent than him still hanging in the show.. and all because of number of the votes.. it was not fair for somebody to go early just because he/she doesn't get support from the people as others do.

Sharib did not deserve to go out. I thought he was an excellent singer, if not winning the compition he would have atleast been in the top 5 or something.

I am NR Pakistani living in Canada and watch SRGM keenly since its start (I was in Kuwait then). I respect Indians for loving good music. However, the team has not treated this program well enough. We are looking for singers and not actors (watch INDIAN IDOL instead). I think the last five participants from SRGM are still better than the 12 contestants from II (Indian Idol). Music won at the end.

However, people of India-Pakistan have not come out of their regional favorism as of yet. Let me say that we are not mature enough to take part in public voting. If I am from Lahore then I shouldn't care if the best is from other region. Instead I can be upset with the candidate from my region due to bad performance. but that's not what current public voting show.

Secondly, you don't know what kind of people vote (10 years old kid compare to 40-50 years old). We are not to count people but to count their expertise (some may not agree with me). The political issue can be avoided by not telling the regional voting. Why was it required in this program anyways. Are we mature to handle it?...NO. Regardless, I would say the the walkout showed the lack of confidence of the other three participants and this not how you become champion. You gotta control your nerves. I noticed them shaking and being emotional in last two programs specially when Himani refused to sing for being nervous. I also don't care who is orphan who's mother has passed away. Half of our population is orphan in fact. We watch to listen music and not their personal stories. But our culture allows us to buy and sell emotions. Therefore debotjit is now the winner. But as I said not every singer can sing every song very well.

Himani is my favorite and although she does not fit into a typical indian high pitch voice I don't know how she has survived so far. Imagin if Lata Jee participates in this show (no one knowing), would she be awarded.. I don't think so

I agree with other folks in this form that there should only be 10-12 judges so that people can see some serious and mature judges as well.

My apologies for saying anything irrelevant but this is the only forum I have found where I found no crap from other folks. Thanks

Mems......i think the whole thing lies in public voting and the multiple voting.........Public voting is not fair thing it has to be banned in my opinion.......... the whole mess lies in public voting.....they must select the finalists by forming a group of judges who r eligible singers and then decide who will be the winner........Nihira is really a genuine singer and it is so unfortunate that she just voted out..........thats why i say once again no public voting....its fully absurd..........its only my personal opinion....selection by judges is genuine.......😊

I have been reading these forums a while and I wish this was real voter base instead of the fictional one that Zee seems to be using for the Saregamapa challenge.

Since the three brats thought it was reasonable behavior to protest with a walkout when they did not like the public's choice( ha!) and the protest is really at the regions supporting their candidates, I wonder what PUNISHMENT public will get if they actually go and buy the songs produced the singer of their choice... oh my what sin will they be committing by spending their own money to support the candidate of their choice! Has India not really learnt yet from Amit Sana and Abhijeet Sawant post contest results of sales?

Its a pity that one show that I have loved for the longest time has ended up as a huge fiasco.

Hi.. I am a bengali and from NE. I dont understand when Debojit sang very poor last week and how come he got highest vote past Thursday???
Vinit should be # 1
Himani #2
Hem #3
and last Debu #4
People should vote by voice quality ... not by region.

Is it possible that this is all scripted to boost the popularity of the show and increase the TRP's?

They could have easily edited all the argument parts and if all this really happened, they could have reasoned with the participants in the studio instead of recording it and showing it to everybody...

Please comment on why this is not possible...

😊 Fantastic situation putting to test not only maturity and friendship (often depicted by crocodile tears on the stage!!) and talent but one that boldly underlines the vanity and sense of being 'supreme' by those competitors who have before the results have been declared for the finals , assumed themselves unbeatable. 👏 ....and I guess their immense common sense and diligent ignorance of sportsmanship made those "specialy gifted" individuals walk out from the dias of achieving excellence. Kudos to their ambition and values. If only they could empathise themselves with Debojit and put themselves where he stood while they exhibited the un-civil walkout. If analysed from a peoples point of view, there has to be something fundamentally wrong with either the UP-ites, Andhra-ites and Harayan-ites or there has to be something wronm with the self esteemed "Three Musketeers" who are not able to garner the votes.

It takes character to appreciate and accept the results, and it is high time that the same be displayed both by the judges who at times don't know the value of numerals like 4 or 6 or have completely given into their biases. These three singers must publicly apologise before they are inducted in the show, else, knowing fully well that there is no dearth of talent in India, an example must be set to suspend them from participating in the show. I am confident that in the next 8-10 months we would have better Hemas, Hemani's and Vineets standing on the stage.

Jai Hind! 😊
