May be Aadesh, Himesh and their disciples didn't even go to primary school to know that fact..........

well... i missed it, but my mom filled me in about it, and seems like the Vinit-himani-hemsachandra gang have been kicking up a big ruckus...

maybe, the solution to all this, is retaining the public voting system ONLY until a particular stage.. the judges should take over from there... and by judges i do NOT mean "mentors"... i have seen and felt that some mentors, especially, aadesh ji are slightly partial towards their candidates...

plus i have a FEELING that all this was completely orchestrated to raise TRP's and spawn discussions such as this very discussion... just a publicity stunt... but i have always held SRGMP in high esteem as a platform for the MOST exclusively talented voices... not MERE performers unlike some other reality shows (read "indian idol, fame gurukul" etc)... so please maintain the dignity of this show...

and what happened that turned Vinit, the ever sweet boy into such a disgruntled attention seeking person... it doesn't fit... himani was alwas sweet as well... i don't really know about hemu...

anyway... i think this is WRONG:

1> if the issue is REGIONAL VOTING... then hema should NOT TALK... his parents have openly admitted to PUBLICISING him on a very LARGE SCALE... in my open, it's about time for him to go... i guess, he's overstayed his welcome, the others are FAR BETTER...

2> Himani and Vinit need'nt worry... at the rate at which they're mentors are begging for votes... they'll make it well into the FINAL round...

3>lastly, it's NOT debo's fault... although he doesn't compare to vinit in terms of talent... (in my opinion)... he did NOTHING to warrant such behaviour from the others...

4>thirdly, i guess all this praise, though well deserved, i going to VINIT'S HEAD!

5> i thought Nihira was BOUND to last till the finals and give Vinit and Himani some VERY good competition... whenever i thouhg of the finals... Hema and Debo were never pictured alongside the other three in my mind... V, H and N are a class apart... they have golden voices...

6>people... this is INDIA... i've seen a lot of this... "mera rashtra mahaan!" get over it! in karnataka where i stay, ( i have heard that... ->) IT companies are told that they have no right to complain about the apalling infrastructure merely because they haven't employed too many kannadigas or bangaloreans! The ppl in AP and TN, south etc vote only for hemachandra as far as i can see... STOP THIS REGIONAL stuff!!!! INDIA is what we should care about! even in my college, ppl laugh at others who don't know kannada! they say, "u live in karnataka, eat the food of karnataka, breathe our air, drink our water, and don't think it's important to give respect to the language of karnataka?'... i see red whenever this happens... i've always harped on ONE poimt... "INDIA comes before KARNATAKA, NORTH EAST STATES, NCR... etc etc... the COUNTRY is ours, stop being petty!!!!" please stop being SOOO narrow minded and regressive in your thinking... this is taking us nowhere... do not ruin the futures of truly talented singers like Vinit by merely voting for somebody just because she/he is from YOUR region...
Nihira became a victim of this problem... please be honest when voting... be true to your heart...

so stop this nonsense guys, get back on stage and do what you are SO GOOD at doing::: SINGING! And debo... it's honestly not your fault, so don't feel bad about all this!

If the whole thing was staged..its even more dumb.BUT I'm not sure about that.
The contestants are obviously not bothered about the trp's.And why wud they risk everything like this & quit just to boost the ratings..even if say they were pressurized by zee tv or gajendra singh.
But then...shooting the whole thing and more importantly --actually BROADCASTING it was a smart move on zee tv's part.Obviously they cashed in on the incident to make money.

It's really sad to see that all the challengers are quiting because debu got max. vote.

What I suggest all the THREE CHANAKYA's that leave immediately because when you don't have guts to fight its better you leave the battel field and let debu be the winner of the challange 2005.

When debu got least no. of votes he never ever complained then why these people are doing these silly things.

Once again repeat disqualiffy all these three challengers immediately

I joined this forum today. First of all a big "HI" to everybody.

I will personally distribute sweets when Debojit will be thrown out. And even if he wins contest, he is going to be another QAZI (Another bullshit singer from FAME GURUKUL). Other people have really good talent and so they will get work in industry without getting at first place. But, what will say Debojit to directors in the bollywood ? That his mother has died and his wife is working so needs a break in bollywood ? Sounds like ****.

The way he is presenting his case is not at all good. Especially, he is saying in every episode that "Please help me to fulfill last wish of my mother who is no more with me." What is this ???? Is this some ****** singing competition or are you standing in local election ?

He must have been thrown out before Nihira. If Nihira would have lost against Himani, I would not have minded.

I am a Gujarati. But, I never voted for Paresh because I want to listen only good voice in the future.

The people who do not come out of small and cheap thinking (like regional favoritism) mindset will always stay behind the world. And so ASSAM is nowhere on top 10 of country's economical zones.

You have to raise your standards if you want to come up and ASSAM people will have to learn that.

how one giving many votes is fair way of selection? it applies to all the contestents. real culprits r the producers. they obviously dont bother about fair way of electing winner.

Hi everybody, eventhough I will not get the opportunity to watch what has transpired to be a notorious episode in the history of saregamapa until this upcoming monday, since i live in Canada, i truly believe that Vinit, Hemani and Hemachandra are just sore losers for walking out from the show while the contest is still going on. Don't get me wrong, i mean this would be a natural reaction by anyone who feels that they have been cheated and ripped off by the voting public. I mean c'mon Debojit is the worst singer by far out of the final four remaining contestants and if it wasn't for his "ASSAMESE" well wishers, he would be on a shitty train back to his crappy little north eastern state. i agree with u boss. vote for debojit if he sings well but not for his sad stories....it looks like he is playing cheap tricks to get votes.

i didnot watch the last show .could some body tell me who got eliminated

I really feel that this walking out staged by the contestants was unnecessary and brought a bad spirit in the competition.

First of all, the show is ruled by the audience votes, this is a system the SRGMP ppl have themselves started and now by complaining over votes, it all makes no sense.
About regionalism, who started it all? First the contestants were always told "aapke sheher se itne % votes mile hain etc etc" regionalism started right here! No wonder ppl started voting for their regional candidates to make sure they win.

Though there r still lots of ppl sensibly voting for the right candidate based on music only, is this so hard to believe?

Debo is a good singer and he's come all this way b'coz he can sing, why have ppl forgotten that and such a feedback from his fellow contestants gives an impression that they donot respect his worth as a singer which is unfair.

I feel all this is Aadesh's doing. First he gives a 6 to debo's performance so that he could mould public's mind into not voting for him and now that debo's got max votes Aadesh's plans have failed and he egged the participants for this walkout.

This is just what 'I' feel, whatever the truth is lets hope the show is not flooded with politics and we get our rightful winners peacefully. This drama will get the show nowhere except raise the TRPs for sure but its not any worth as far as music is concerned.

Whatever happened is done. Things will never be back to normal betn Debo and others. Hope things dont get any worse than they r now!
